The nurse didn't even think when she lifted her chin in submission. She tried to speak but she could barely breathe. "Need..." She started coughing before she felt the hand starting to loosen. She had to take a breath or two before she could speak. "Bridget is with Nette and Sonya at Annabelle's. You were critically hurt in a vehicle accident." She had to gasp a few more times. "The Alpha will be here shortly and he contacted Sonya to bring the baby here. It will take some time since they have to drive."

Gael's wolf had loosened his hand enough for the woman to breathe so she could speak. As she was speaking he was using every sense he had to tell if she was lying to him. After a few deep sniffs of her neck he finally decided she was more terrified than anything. Once she mentioned the Alpha was going to be there momentarily he spun her around so her back was to his chest and backed against the far wall. He was glad she wasn't struggling since he didn't have any urge to hurt anyone.

There was a knock on the door before the Alpha opened it. He looked at Gael and the she-wolf even as he held a phone out. "Gael please don't hurt her. When you left the moon night you were in a very bad accident. The only reason you are alive is because you are a wolf. Bridget is fine, she is with Sonya and Annette, and they are bringing her here right now. You might not remember but it will take them about forty-five minutes from the Lazy J. I have Damian, the Alpha from your former pack, on the phone. I am going to give it to Elsie to give to you." His voice was calm though there were hints of concern for his wolf.

Gael could feel the power of the Alpha but it was being constrained which was good. Right now he was operating on instinct and the demand to protect their pup. He kept the Alpha in his view even as he gave the wolf a slight nod. "Slowly hand it over." His voice was still that low rumble and it was obvious the wolf was in charge at the moment.

The Alpha did that and stretched his hand out and slowly moved forward just enough to hand the phone over. Once the nurse had it he stepped back to the door. He had dealt with badly injured wolves before and for the most part they were simply trying to figure out what had happened. As long as he remained calm as well as the others usually they could talk the wolf down. "Slowly hand the phone to him. Don't do anything though I know you understand that."

Gael took the phone and held it to his ear. "Yes?" It was abrupt and short but at the moment till he had Bridget in his arms he didn't care.

Damian carefully listened and to him, as well, it was obvious Gael wasn't really there. "Gael, this is Damian and Bridget is fine. I have talked to Alpha Masterson and Annette, Sonya, and Annabelle are bringing her over. Take a slow breath and Peggy wishes to speak to you." He handed the phone over.

Peggy took the phone, when she spoke she sounded pleased. "I am glad you finally woke up Gael. We have been really concerned for you. Nette has been keeping us updated on a daily basis. Gael relax and settle down please. Even though you left the pack you know Damian and I won't lie to you so you sit down and wait." She was talking as a mother and as the Luna. "If you don't I am going to come out there and have a discussion with you young man."

Gael didn't really have a choice but to calm down. It was trained into him to trust the Luna. With her order he finally let the woman go. When he did his wolf started to step back some which wasn't a good thing since Gael's body started to collapse.

The Nurse quickly turned around and wrapped her arms around him. "Gael let me help you to the bed and check you out. Though you are healing well waking up this way might have caused problems." As she had expected the Alpha remained at the door to keep from setting Gael off. It only took a few moments before he was settled back in bed.
