Chapter Four ♦

::Carter's p.o.v::

He pushed me with his body against the wall and stared me up and down. As sexy as he looked, this got uncomfortable.

"Chresanto what do you want?"

"Nothing from you. But you best be canceling that date". "No I'm not canceling anything" I stood up, getting in his face.

"I'm gon tell you one more damn time. You better cancel that date"

"No"

He chuckled slightly and just stared at me. "Your not my father. You can't tell me anything. I'm going on that date and there's nothin you can -"

Before I could continue, he whipped his hand across my face, leaving a sting. I looked up at him and glared.

"You slapped me..."

"Carter I'm so -"

I punched him in his face and made a run for the door. He grabbed me by my waist and threw me onto the couch Tiana had in her room.

I kicked and he held my mouth so my screams couldn't be heard over the loud music.

I pushed his face away with my hand. He grabbed my hands and pinned them above my head.

"So your gonna rape me Chresanto?"

He shook his head no. "I'm trying to get your ass to calm down!" He yelled. My breathing was hard and so was his. "Are you calm now?"

I nodded. He sighed and got off me. He helped me out off the couch. "I'm sorry I hit you" he said, tracing the spot he hit with his index finger. I shifted my head, in reaction to the sting I felt whenever you touch it.

"Carter I really am"

"It's ok Chres"

"No it's not. I hurt you and that's worst then anything I can think of" he said. I smiled slightly and fixed my hair into a fan bun. "Like I said, it's alright".

He caressed my neck and kissed me on my cheek. I smiled warmly at the warm-gushy feeling I got. I really didn't care about Sanai and from the look of it, he didn't either.

I turned around and we stared eye to eye. The whole room zoned out and it was just me and him. He leaned in and I did the same and we were inches away from kissing each other.

"I'm gon - woah"

I stared at Jacob as he winked at both of us. "What were you guys finna do up in here with ya nasty asses?" He teased. I rolled my eyes.

Tiana came behind him. "What was you two doing in my room?!" She yelled. "Calm down! Nothing happened" I confirmed.

"Better not be! Chresanto, you get out, Carter you do what you have to do, then get out" she said.

I giggled and walked out with Chres. I really liked him and if only he wasn't dating Sanai. I know he hit me but I guess i can let it slide. If he does it again, then trust me, there will be a fight.

The party went on for a few more hours and then died out. People left and there was a mess that the crew decided to help Tiana clean up.

"Ok, I'm not spending my break doing nothing so anyone have any plans?" Tiana complained.

"My dad isn't gonna be home for a while. Maybe you guys can come over and I can make food? You can invite friends"

"Deal! Will there be fried chicken?" Ray asked, stopping his sweeping.

"There will be fried chicken"

He ran over and hugged me. I laughed as he put me down. "So we all meet up at Carter's house tomorrow at six?".
