"Hello!" I said harshly.
"Hi Tomas, it's Leah's mom, she wanted to let you know not to worry about her and that you'll see her soon."
"Wait! What happened?!"
She gave me down to the last detail of what happened and I was in shock. I hung up and drove right to the hospital.
I walked into the room her brother was in, but I didn't see her only Joe sleeping and her mom sleeping as well. Where could she be?
Sophie walked in ready eyed. I complained where Leah was, she looked puzzled.
"What?" I asked
"Leah's in hospital room 208 because her heart stopped," she responded with a confused look on her face.
Her mom never told me that. I walked around looking for room 208 only to find her in a bed with tubes and wires hooked up to machines, hooked up to her. And a single cold tear dribbled down my face.
