When I arrived back home, I had about half an hour until I had to go over to Brinelle's. I first made sure that it was okay with my parents, and they just told me to not play around and to make sure that I'm working. What else would we be doing? I didn't change into anything new, because then I'd make it look like I'm trying to impress her. I called Jack to see if he could drop me off at her house, but then my mom offered instead so I wouldn't bother him or Celeste. Man, I can't wait to learn how to drive and get my own car. Before we left I made sure I had everything I needed to help study. I packed the books we got from school earlier today and stuffed them in my book bag. I made sure I had all the papers we got. I wasn't that nervous until I got a text from Brinelle.

'r u ready?'

'for what?'

'really?'

'no kidding, of course i remember, and yes i am'

'are ur parents ok with it?'

'yeah, im so glad'

'well, here's the address ********* (u kno what just pretend it's ur address cause I'm not gonna make up a fake one and ye) don't rush yourself to be here, I don't have anywhere to be'

'okay thanks I'll b there soon'

I locked my phone and placed it in my pocket. Then, I quickly grabbed my book bag and held some books in my hands since they were huge and I couldn't fit them all. I called my mom and told her that I was ready to leave. I said I'd be there at around 5:30ish and it's already about 5:00. I told my mom that I didn't want to be late, so she quickly got ready to leave.

We walked to the car and it was about a 7 minute drive to be exact. She didn't live in the same neighborhood, but it was one fairly close to mine, which I was glad. While my mom and I were in the car, she started asking me about Brinelle. I told my mom some of what she told me. My mom wants to meet her when we get there because when I talked about her, she said Brinelle seemed really nice. She was right, Brinelle is nice, but not only is she nice, but also cute, friendly, smart, caring, funny, and so many other things I can't explain.
