☼ B r i n e l l e ☼
It was the next day of school. Actually only the second. I was excited to see Luke again. I woke up to the beautiful sound of Mariana's Trench. Or at least that's what I imagined was happening. I eventually did start playing a whole playlist of Mariana's Trench which completely made the morning a great one. I woke up around the same time as yesterday, also still feeling depressed in some reason. I just don't know what. I always tried to act "myself" around my mom and Jack, I didn't want them to assume anything of me. I hate it when people do that. Then they start saying things. Then, they worry about me for no reason.
I changed into a pair of denim jeans and a black bralette top. I threw on one of my huge knit cardigans. I slipped on a pair of white converse. I side braided my hair into a fishtail because, yes, I'm lazy, and also because it looked plain so I just felt like it.
I packed my book bag.
Then, checked to see if Jack was awake.
I opened the door and saw Jack there still sleeping. I knocked on the door even though it was already open.
"Jack, Bud," I smiled and went over to tap him. I didn't want to disturb him really but I just went over to see.
"What?" he said waking up.
"It's almost time, there's school still." I laughed.
"Ugh,"
"Yeah I know right," He got out of his bed and I walked over to the door. "
Well, do you need any help?"
"Nah, I'm good thanks,"
"K, be down,"
"I'll be there," I walked down and it was pretty much like yesterday.
I placed my book bag on a chair and my phone with my earbuds on a table. I went to get breakfast. I saw a note on the kitchen table that says,
'Bri & Jack, Morning loves! I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm so sorry I had to leave and go to the office early today, it was a late call. I'm not sure what time I'll be back tonight. Just be safe. I love you! ♥'
I smiled placing the note back down.
I yelled to Jack, "Mom's not home, she left early today."
"k" I heard him respond.
I continued getting breakfast. I opened the fridge and grabbed an apple. What? Why an apple? Oh well, at least it's healthy. I wasn't hungry much anyways. I usually never am. I heard my phone ring.
