Intruders

During my sleep I hear a loud smash that makes my eyes snap open and I look around.
I hear a loud crash.I rub my eyes and turn over to lean on the side of my body and sigh right before I hear katy scream and it sends my blood cold as I hear my smashing sounds.
I jump up,everything seems so surreal.I don't even notice i'm running like a cheeta.All I can think about is saving my mother,I can't let her get hurt.
My heart pumps and I swerve to the stairs and jump over three steps.I then hit the bottom,almost falling over.

There I see an intruder with a skeleton mask standing across from Katy,who is sprawled out on the carpet.Her face is facing the floor and she's unmoving.Fear suddenly us the only thing I can feel "mum?" I whisper into the night,the moonlight silhouettes her and the moonlight illuminates everything a hazy blue.
I then get a surge of adrenaline courseing through my veins and my blood bubbles and I start a run and my arms wrap around the intruder as my body collides with his and I knock us to the floor.
He grunts and trys to push me off him but I punch his temple and pin his arms to his back and get up and kick him in the ribs and letting my anger leak and explode I kick his face.
"Rhiannon,move" Riley says from behind me firmly.

I nod and Riley then drops his phone on the couch and has a baseball bat in his hand.I then look at our unconscious mother and go onto the floor next to her.
I pull her light body across my lap and feel her neck and relief runs through me when I feel a strong pulse.I let her head fall against my shoulder allowing me to see her top ripped and outlined with blood.I gasp and get up "Riley,he's got a knife!" I scream and I see the intruder about to strike my twin with his knife.I then run through and grab the frame of the room that separates the kitchen and living room and I clutch my fingers around the wood and swing the bottom half of my body and kick the intruder in the face and the impact sends him falling two feet away.I jump down into a crouch and see Riley is battered up pretty badly and he has cuts over his body.I then see he is about to fall so I quickly catch his falling body and ease him to the floor.

He moans and falls unconscious.I get worried about my older brother and can't believe this is happening,there is some k8nd of sociopath in my house and i'm the only one contious to take him down and i'm a small 14 year old girl who only knows karate.
My heart is pouding and I can hear it in my ears and feel the anger on my tounge and feel my hatred for him consuming me in a world of physical dislike.He gets up and the knife glints in the moonlight that shines from the window behind us.I have no idea what to do,"you little bitch, you are going to die tonight" he snickers.
I laugh "well,you're going to spens the rest of you're miserable life in a cell and getting raped up the ass, I think I get the better end of tge stick bucko" I snap.
"You're a smart little mutt aren't you" he hisses."Well at least if I went to go rob a place I would have more inforcements and also know how to take down someone half the soze of me,you are a pathetic exuse for a criminal" I snap.
He doesn't reply and I then jump back as he trys to hit me.He comes in front of me and trys to puch me so I duck under his arm swiftly and then pop bacl up before giving him a sharpe kick in the stomach.
I then kick his back and he slumps onto his knee's and he grabs my foot and yanks me foward making me fall fowards and my face hits the floor.
I go slightly dizzy for a a second but then quickly recover and I feel his hands grab my hair and yank my face up with my hair and the Sharpe edge of thd blade is agaisnt my jugular.I don't move as I have no idea how to get out of this one."Out smarted now bitch" he snickers.I then think fast and throw my head back roughly and it hits him and he groans and despite the dizzness I rip away from the fat lug.I jump to my feet and see he has gotten up and he grabs my shoulders so I react quickly and grab his knife and the adrenaline allows me to ignore when the blade slices through my skin.

Blood gushes out quicker than I expected it to.Before he can injure me I drive the knife into his appendix and he groans and his grip on my shoulders loosens and he falks foward and his body knocks us both over and I feel his warm blood coating me over.I gasp and try push his heavy body off mine and then hands grab me and drag me out from him and then it hits me,I just stabbed a man!.
"Oh my gosh" I say quietly and it makes my world spin of ots axis "oh my gosh" I say over and over as Riley embraces me and my face falls against his chest "shh, Rhiannon,its alright" he says softly and I then wrap my arms around him and allow him to comfort me.I then feel more arms encircle us,its the arms of our mother and we let her slump agaisnt us and my battle finally takes its affects on me and I let my light head finally drift off as I sleep.
