are you sure im the one?

i sit on the couch across from riley and katy i fiddle with my fingers a bit "so are how did you get past your father.." says katy breaking the awkward silence i clear my throat "i knocked him out" i say rileys jaw drops a cheesey grin appears on my face and katys "how!" says riley astonished "he wouldnt let me go so i picked up a jar and dropped it on his head when he put me over his shoulder and it knocked him out" i say quite proud of myself actullay "thats my girl" smiles katy i give a weak one back and drop my head "k-katy are you sure im the......the one?"

she sighs and sits up she then comes and sits next to me she then puts her arm over my shoulder and kisses my temple i find it slightly awkward but it actullay feels nice dad used to do it but i didnt feel the way i did when katy did it i smile

after while of covincing im the one which i deffintily am katys talks about when we were younger and how her life was but katy finally brings up something i wished she never asked "so what was your fathers name?" she asks taking a sip of her coffee i trace my finger around the rim of mine "brett lacey" i say katys face drops and she drops the coffee on the floor making it all smash some of it hit my leg burning me a bit "ouch" i mutter moving my leg "what was that!" yells keith katy still sits there fuming with rage its kind of intimadating actullay "katy dropped a glass its all good!" i shout back i then sit down again i brush my burnt leg katys snaps out of her trance why riley cleans up the mess she sees me brush my leg and the red mark she then looks guilty "oh my god rhi i am so sorry" she says she ten rubs it she then looks up at me and notices something because her face changes slightly she rubs something just above my brow "what happened there?" she asks i try to think it then clicks

"when i knocked dad out i fell off his shoulder and hit my head on my draw not  a big deal but whats the deal with dad" i ask katy kisses the saw she looks down "um....ah well me and brett met a little while after my first love jesse broke up iwas heart broken but then brett came in and swooped me off my feet we fell in love instantly but after a while he started to get drunk and agressive he would get jealouse easily and acusse me of cheating but of coarse i never did such things,.but one night he came staggering in drunk and emotinal saying how much he loved me we then kissed he felt me up i didnt like it so i told him to stop but he held me down and..." she stops and i see tears in her eyes making my heart break for her "and" her voice breaks out into a sob i quickly wrap my arms around her "i didnt think dad was-" riley cuts me off "dont call him dad" he says angrily but i dont get hurt i know he is angry and i am too riley then starts speaking "so later on mum found out she was pregnat brett found out and tried to convince mum he wanted us in his life and he ovioussly did mum said she cant stop him from seeing his kids so she said she can arrange visting so brett got angry he tried to punch mum but lucky uncle david was there so he knocked brett out and mum didnt want brett in our lives so when we were born grams let us stay here with her because she didnt mind but 6 months later she were kidnapped we didnt know who bye until now!" he says angrily

all this new infomation hit me hard like a slap in the face and i found it hard to keep my emotions under control "im gonna go to bed..." i say i then walk up and hop in the blankets i sink my head in the pillow and cry myself to sleep
