I woke up and took a bath. I changed into my blue Erudite clothes. Today was my choosing day. I went down stairs and went with my mum and step-dad going to the venue. After awhile it was my turn "Clary Adelaide Eaton." My name was called. I went down and got the knife, after choosing my faction Marcus said "Dauntless" I went to the dauntless section and sat down beside a Candor transfer Johanna Reese. After the Choosing Ceremony the Dauntless were the first out then they started running. I knew what was happening because I've done it before, when I was living with my dad, until I was ten the 5 faction leaders: Zeke Pedrad, Louis Reese, Marcus Eaton, Johnathan Cruz, and John Craig made me choose who I wanted to stay with and so I chose my mum. We were jumping on the train after getting on the train I saw my bestest friend from Dauntless: Uriah Pedrad Jr. he saw me too we started a conversation when my other best friend from Erudite Erika Ericson asked me why I know him after awhile somebody announced that we were already at the Dauntless compound. When the others saw the dauntless - born people jumping they got scared but jumped too. When the train left Uncle Zeke said the usual Dauntless Initiation Speech even though it was my dad who was supposed to give it because he's the dauntless leader. He asked us who wanted to jumped first, and when nobody volunteered I went forward and said "I'll go!" When I arrived down dad was there and he helped me down and said "First jumper! Adele!" He used my Dauntless name. When everyone got down we started the tour and such when my dad told me in front of all initiates "Adele you will be joining the dauntless - born for your initiation." I nodded my head yes and started to get ready for bed, after awhile everyone was sleeping and I was wondering what would tomorrow be like.
