Chapter 8

Marshall's P.O.V

I hate that they had to come in here and ruin the fun... But hey I guess Rocky did need that bath, it was kinda funny watching them force him into the tub... But sadly Zuma had to go with Rocky, which is even funnier in my opinion. I am trying my to hide myself from them so I hide my head under the water only leaving my muzzle up above the water so I could breathe... As I lay on Chase like that he wrapped his paws around me as I could hear his heart beating.

I then hear Zuma talking to Chase, "Hey Chase? How is youw luck with Mawshall going?"

"Oh that? I am trying to figure out a way to ask him out..." Chase said nervously.

"Oh well that sucks." Zuma said.

"Yeah a bit... But I think I'll tell him really soon..." Chase said as he tightened his paws around me.

"Well yeah... *Checks if Rocky is asleep* If it makes you fell bettew then me and Wocky awe going nowhewe cause I won't tell him how I feel..." Zuma said with a sigh.

"Hey you'll get over it like I am and tell him... And when you do you will be very happy hopefully." Chase said with a slight joy in his voice.

After a while Zuma and Rocky left, me and Chase sit there as I come up out of the water and lay back on him, "So what did you two talk about?"

"Oh he asked how I was doing in trying to get you to be with me..." Chase said as he said with a smile.

"Yeah I know... I just wanted you to say it, but when are we going to tell them about us?" I asked curious.

"We will do it soon... Just not yet, I'm not ready yet..." Chase said blushing.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." Chase said as he kissed me and we got out and headed towards the lookout.
