Chapter 7

Ivy shuffled out of her last class and into the school playground. It had been a week since the 'incident'. And she was suddenly very, very shy. And scared.

"Hey Ivy!" Flashie called, waving from the center of the playground. "Over here!"

Ivy hovered over to Flashie and Cinnamon, who were smiling eagerly. Next to them, however, was Diamond Tiara's daughter, who unfortunately didn't listen to his mother's cautions and bullied. Her name was Diamond Goblet.

"Oh look, Silverstone, it's the hybrid! Hey! Mini Discord!" Goblet laughed, nudging a grey mare next to her, who had her back turned to the ungrateful filly. "Hey! Ivy, you're a monster!"

Ivy snapped. She had never had a great deal of patience, but now she was more vulnerable than usual.

"I am NOT A MONSTER!" Ivy screamed, turning to the pink earth pony. Her eyes, both normal and strange, were glowing red and fang was protruding from her upper lip.

The whole playground screamed, running out of the school gates.

Ivy returned to normal, puzzled. "What...what's wrong?"

Cinnamon nibbled her lip awkwardly while Flashie rubbed his front leg and his hind leg together nervously.

"Well, I'll show you. Remember that spell my mum said she would teach me? The recording spell? I was using that spell." Flashie explained, motioning that the girls follow him as he ran out of the school grounds.

The former elements were gathered around the table in the castle of friendship. They were discussing the imposing threat called Discord and their options.

"I say we blast some friendship and harmony in his face!" Rainbow yelled, punching a hoof in the air.

"No, we need to be subtle!" Twilight countered. "Although, that's a fairly good idea Dashie."

Rainbow grinned. "I try."

"Well, we definitely can't ask Fluttershy to help. The poor dear is still shaking." Rarity sighed, glancing at the said pegasus. She really was shaking, as if it was freezing. Her pupils were dilated in fright and she kept on glancing behind her.

Applejack agreed, gently hugging the jumpy mare. Fluttershy squealed in fright, and shot out fron her seat, before slowly descending to her seat, blushing.

BANG!

The doors flew open, Flashie, Cinnamon and Ivy marching in.

"Flashie! I told you not to interupt!" Twilight scolded.

"This is important! Look!" Flashie shouted, projecting the incident onto the wall.

After the clip, everyone turned to Ivy, sympathetic looks on their faces.

"T..T..Twilight? What's happening to my children?" Fluttershy cried, pulling her younger daughter close to her chest.

"Discord happened." Twilight replied simply, sighing. "It's not your daughters' fault."

"He's just a meanie mean meanie pants!" Pinkie huffed, crossing her front hooves.

"Oh ladies, you wound me!" Came a sarcastic , echoing voice.

Fluttershy was rooted to the spot. Ivy started screaming her head off, until she ran into a warm pile of fur. She looked up. She had bumped into her father.

Rainbow landed in front of Ivy.
"You are not going to touch my goddaughter on my watch." The pegasus growled, flaring out her wings.

"And who asked you Crashie?" Discord drawled, snapping his fingers.

The group were surprised when nothing happened. Well, nothing happened to them. Something happened to Ivy.

The words 'you're a monster' kept on ringing in her ears. Nothing would block the taunting noise out.

"NO, I'M NOT!" Ivy screamed, kicking and running around, scaring everypony around her except Discord.

"Ivy, what's the matter?" Twilight asked, worry etched on her face.

"I...I...I'm NOT a monster..." Ivy shouted, turning to the adults and shocking them all. Now both of her eyes were red and yellow, fang sprouting from her mouth and her coat flickering from yellow to grey. Black tears were streaming down her cheeks.

"I...I..Ivy," Fluttershy uttered, before turning to Discord. "W..what did you do to my daughter? To both of my daughters?"

"Their my daughters' as well, Fluttershy. And I'm helping them." Discord grinned, snapping his fingers, teleporting Ivy into his arms.

Ivy kicked and punched, but she was weak compared to the Lord of Chaos. Another snap of the fingers, and they were gone.

Fluttershy cried for the loss of her second daughter. Her friends comforted her while Flashie and Cinnamon wept for the loss of their friend. They could only pray for their saftey now.

Ivy woke with her body pressed against a warm chest. Discord had obviously put a spell on her while they teleported, seeing as that was the last thing she remembered.

The filly looked up to see her elder sister.

"Meadow!" Ivy cried, hugging her sister and nuzzling her. Meadow smiled, folding her outstretched wings and hugging Ivy back.

"I see your awake, you little rascal. Now, how did he kidnap you?" Meadow asked, looking at her sister with concern.

Ivy explained everything, the outburst, telling Twilight and her panic attack. Then she asked Meadow if she had any problems like transformation.

Meadow nodded sadly. She streched her right wing, that she had kept hidden from Ivy. Instead of a usual pegasus wing, it was a pastel pink bat wing. Ivy gasped

"I..is it.." Ivy murmured, glancing at her sister's abnormal wing.

"Permanent? Yes....at least for now.." Meadow replied, folding her bat wing.

Then Discord materialised in front of them.
"The God of Chaos has arrived!" Discord announced.

"You're not a god." Ivy whispered flatly.

"Well, I have enough power to rival a God, so I'm practically a God." Discord replied, clicking his fingers to demonstrate.

"Well, so is Celestia and Luna!"Ivy protested, standing up defiantly.

"No, their Demi-Goddess. Just like you two." Discord explained. "The only way they were able to defeat me was with their upgraded power, thanks to the elements. In fact, with your full power released, Meadow has enough magic to battle both princesses at the same time."

"W..what?" Meadow stuttered, looking up, alarmed.

"That's why I want to train your powers. Meadow, if you join me and help me take over Equestria, I'll do just that. So, will you join me, or not?" Discord said, smirking.

Meadow didn't know what to do. If she said no, she didn't know what he would do. If she said yes, maybe she could convince him to let Ivy go.

Her choice was made.

Tears brimming in her eyes, she uttered her answer.
"I will...."
