Chapter 6: Proper Deathbed

Your heart was beating fast, you felt arms around you. You knew you were in a warm embrace, you were shocked. You were alive.

Your hands slowly clutched to the fabric of the clothes of what the man embracing you was wearing. It was soft and warm. You liked it that way. You felt your tears fall down continuously as you clutched tightly at the man. "[Y/N], if you really wanted to die that badly, you should have told me first."

Your eyes slowly opened as the voice finished. It wasn't the man you were expecting. It wasn't Ash. No. Not this time.

"S-Sebastian?" You stuttered looking at the now smiling face at you. Sebastian slowly placed you on the ground. You stood there looking at him as he was pleasantly smiling at you. "I should've given you a proper deathbed." He chuckled softly. Your eyes softened, and as if you couldn't control your body, you tackled the man with a huge hug, sending the two of you to the ground.

You started crying as Sebastian gently rubbed your back. "I-I thought.... I t-thought I was g-going to die."

You stuttered. You felt the man smile slowly stroking your hair.

"I wouldn't let you die just on the ground with grass all around you." he stated assisting you up. As your eyes met, he cupped your cheeks still smiling. "I'd give you the most beautiful roses and bluebells. All in the pleasing color of blue and black, just how it suited you in the first place."

More tears fell from your eyes. Why did he know you so well already. Why him.

Sebastian wiped the tears from your face and slowly leaned his forehead on yours. "I can't let a cat loose one of her nine lives if its just for some lame reason."

To your surprise, your lips crashed together. And as if you lost total control of your body, your arms snaked around his neck, sinking in the passion, unaware of the eyes watching you from afar.

As you parted, needing some air. You stared at him as if you were wanting for more. And he knew you did.

As you were moving closer to him once more, something stopped you. A pair of scissors suddenly flew right in the middle of you two. Your heart started beating heavily and as if by instinct, you grabbed the pocket knife hidden under your skirt, throwing it to the direction of where the scissors came from.

You saw some shaking by the bushes. You slowly walked to that direction. "State your name and the reason for your very presence or I won't go easy on you." you stated bitterly with a serious tone that can send chills down the spine.

"Get your little paws off my Bassy!" your face suddenly became emotionless. Dull. Poker faced.

It was a grown man, around Sebastian's age or height maybe. Long red hair, red flashy attire. And one detail in a huge note in your head. Annoying voice.

The man removed the pocket knife from his sleeve and ran to Sebastian pointing another pair of scissors at you while complaining at Sebastian. You looked at the butler that is now looking quite very annoyed. You watched as the Red Head complained over and aver again pointing his scissors at you, sort of...... threatening you?

As he stopped, he walked to you and stood in front of you with his hands on his waist. "Sebby-chan is MINE! Got it!?"

You slowly analyzed what he said. "Sebby..... Chan...... CHAN!?"

You pushed the red head aside walking to Sebastian. "CHAN!? You're a ..!?" you asked wide eyed slowly touching your lips. The butler on the other hand looks far more than irritated than you thought he possibly could.

"Grell, are you unaware that I am still under my master's command?" Sebastian was creeping the man in red out. He slowly walked to you, clutching you from behind. "Oooohhh.... Bassy is so. Ah!! I like how stoic he is!!"

You facepalmed yourself. Sebastian started running towards the red man and the man known as Grell kept running.

The two of them ran so fast that they were like cats and dogs, only in a incredibly accelerated motion.

You were silently laughing when the scenery was cut off by a certain cold monotonous voice.

"Grell! Why are you here! Leave at once."

It was Ciel. Sebastian cracked his knuckles and Grell pushed up his glasses.

"Well, I suppose its time to stop joking."

Grell was suddenly serious. Which made you confused in a freaked out way.

"Young earl. She's back." The red man's words made Ciel's eye widen. He looked at Sebastian with confusion. "So that's why.... You're still here....."

Sebastian walked to you and politely gestured you to the door. "I am very sorry [Y/N], but this is an important matter. I know you understand." You nodded and walked in wondering what might be so important. You needed to know.

"How did you find out?" The young blue asked the Shinigami. "The scent of death is nearby. I have no doubt, Grell is saying the truth." Butted the butler.

"That's why I'm here. But aside from that, may I ask you something. Who is that girl?" Grell asked. "[Y/N]? The queen's descendant. Obviously in our care."

Grell pushed his glasses up once more, his face more than serious. "As expected from you. I might sound bad but...... Always be aware. There's something strange about her. There's something weird about her story. Her book is too detailed. Its filled with death." Sebastian and Ciel was silent for a while, the earl explained how you were a killer.

"No. You don't understand. Its not about how much red stained her pages, its about her rate of dying. I've seen her before, she probably doesn't remember anymore. The number of her death is much far more than normal. And........" Ciel was more than curious than what Grell was about to say. "Well!? Spit it out already!!" Shouted the young earl.

"I'm sorry Phantomhive. It's not yet time for you to know. And its not supposed to come from me. Just wait, the right time is approaching. But please, avoid this girl until you find out." Calmly replied Grell walking away.

"Wait! When is it!? Tell me!! Find out what!?" Shouted Ciel, apparently Grell was too far away to hear or maybe he ignored him.

Sebastian was in deep thought the word 'Death' echoing in his head.

"[Y/N]......." whispered the young earl worriedly.

"Why............ ?"
