Lucas's Apartment

Lucas's POV

Maya is coming over soon and all i know is we need to talk. I really like Maya but i am so confused.

Ding Dong

Maya must be here early. I open the door to see my friend Zay. He has a smirk on his face for no reason at all. Yep that's Zay he has been 'Shipping' Maya and I since he found out i liked Maya. 

"Hello Lucas" Zay said in his creepiest voice possible.

"Dude. Maya is coming over you should go" I said trying to get Zay to leave.

"Ooh Lucaya wants some alone time..." Zay said while having the biggest smile ever.

"First whats Lucaya? Second we are just going to talk." I said turning away to close the door while Zay walked inside.

"Lucaya is your ship name. Also can i watch you talk. I mean Maya so likes you and she almost said it at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden" Zay said.

"I don't think.... Wait... How did you know about the Brooklyn Botanical Garden?" I said looking at Zay while he looks at the ground.

"I..may have been on the subway with you and Maya and followed you to the Garden..." Zay said walking away.

"Zay..." I started.

"We'll it looks like i should get going... BYE" Zay said running out of my apartment.

I then was about to run after Zay but i saw Maya in the hallway.  She was wearing a black graphic tee shirt and denim shorts with her hair straighten and a little purse. She looked amazing.

"Hey Cowboy" Maya said staring at me.

"Oh... Hey Maya come in" i said opening my apartment door.

"Nice place" she said as she put her purse on my kitchen counter.

"Thanks" I said closing my door.

"I meant the counter but that too" She said with a chuckle.

"Maya do you like me?" I said. I needed her to tell me the truth.

"I can't hear you a-da-da-da-da-da-da-duh" Maya sang as she opened my apartment door and walked outside. 

I followed her outside of my apartment on to the sidewalk and yelled "Maya we have to talk!".

"No Lucas! I don't want to talk!" she yelled back.

"Maya do you like me?" i said lowering my voice.

"No" She said looking away.

"So you don't make fun of me because you like me?" i said. Zay has said a million times that the only reason she makes fun of me is because she like me.

"I'm going" Maya said as she walked away. 

"Maya, why do you make fun of me?" I said looking at her turn around and look at me.

"Because you're easy to make fun of!" Maya yelled at me.

"Okay, then stop!" I said looking at her.

"Because you're a huckleberry. Because you're a Ranger Rick." She said walking towards me to the point where there was barely any space  between us.

"Would you stop?" I said lowering my voice.

"Look, if I had feelings for you, don't you think I'd just come right out and say it? Well, I don't, so what I do say is har harr" She said getting up in my face and i kissed her for only 7 seconds but it seemed like 6 years. 

"I like you." she  whispered.
