First Date Part 1

Maya's POV

After we kissed Lucas and i looked at each other for a minute then Zay came out of nowhere and yelled "YAS LUCAYA!! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED."

Lucas just laughed while i'm confused what the hell Lucaya even means but i'll ask Zay some other time.

"Dude Chill!" Lucas yelled trying to calm Zay down but Zay was so happy he was about to explode.

"Okay... Okay... Can i take a picture to send to every person who thought  i was crazy for shipping you guys?" Zay said grabbing his phone out of his pocket.

"No Zay" i said. Zay is a great friend but he was acting like me and Lucas got engaged.

"So Lucas.. how about we meet at Topanga's in 3 hours?" i said. I needed an hour just to tell Riley and then change. I'll spend the next two hours having Zay explain to me what Lucaya is.

"That sounds great and we could end the night watching a movie at my apartment."  Lucas said with a smile on his face. Wow me and Huckleberry are  going on a date wow. Things are different now. I like it.

"That sound amazing." I said as i walked away to my apartment. Lucas's apartment is only 15 minutes away from mine. 

"So Maya... You like Lucas don't you?" Zay said following me. He sometimes gets on my last nerve.

"Explain to me what the hell Lucaya is first." i said honestly i don't get "Lucaya".

"Lucaya is your ship name. Like Riley and Farkle's ship name is Riarkle." Zay said. Wait how does Zay know Riley likes Farkle? Does he even know maybe Farkle told him he liked Riley and if Farkle did that i have to tell Riley but i know Riley she only breaks up with a guy if she has a reason so i need a favor from Zay.

"Zay i need you to do something for me..." I said.

"Fine. But tell me you like Lucas and i will do whatever the favor is" Zay said.

"Fine i like Lucas. I liked him for about.. a year and i always thought he would only date people like Riley so i never really told him."

"YAY!! Now whats the favor?" Zay said with the biggest smile on his face.

"Okay i want you to find out about if Farkle likes Riley" i said maybe Zay can help me.

"Okay. I i'll go to my place and video chat Farkle." Zay said as he walked away.

Okay now all i got to do is run home call Riley and get dressed.

Meanwhile (Lucas"s POV)

Okay i have 3 hours to get Maya some flowers but i need to text Riley about Maya. Riley knows Maya better than anyone so i'll ask her what flowers i should get Maya.

Lucas: Riley what type of flowers should i get Maya?

Riley: Maya loves Alstroemeria flowers. Why did you ask?

Lucas: I asked Maya out on a date and i want to get her flowers.

Riley: Yay!!! Congrats!! Maya is going to call me any second now so bye!

Lucas: Bye!

I put my phone away and went to the nearest flower shop that is next door to my apartment only to see Missy there. Her dad owns the flower shop so i'm not surprise.

"Hello Lucas. Here to get flowers for me?" Missy said walking towards me. Missy and i dated for a hour. It was the worst  hour of my life. Missy at first seemed like a nice person so we went on a date then she took me to her house and she tried so many times to get me into her bedroom but honestly Missy was too forward so i left and i guess Missy has been trying to get my attention ever since. But i'm here for Maya.

"No Missy." I said. Missy is crazy so telling her i was getting flowers for Maya was like telling her to go after Maya.

"Oh okay." Missy said going away.

Finally i picked the flowers Maya likes and bought them.

Meanwhile (Maya's POV)

I just ended my call with Riley and i just put on my necklace. Its my lucky necklace i every time i wear it something amazing happens Riley gave it to me on my 7th birthday. Its a simple heart locket with the word peaches written on it. I hope this date with Lucas really goes well. But yeah now i need o make sure everything is perfect at the dinner. 

2 hours and 30 minutes later (Still Maya's POV)

Lucas should be here any minute. There he is we both sit down in the two red chairs.

"Hey Maya" he said .

"Hey Huckleberry. My mom is cleaning out some of the storage so i could take a while for food." i said.

"Okay lets play 20 questions then" Lucas said like he had no idea what to say.

"Okay. I want to change the rules. One of us gives a question and we both have to answer." i'm not going to let him know my whole back story without knowing some of his other than getting kicked out of school and being a year older than everyone in our grade.

"Okay i'll start. What makes you smile?" Lucas said. He is such a huckleberry.

"I like art so when i finally finish a painting i worked so hard on i can't help but smile. You?" 

"Yeah when i hit a home run or i help someone out" Lucas said once again pointing out how much of a Huckleberry he is.

"My turn. What is your most embarrassing moment?" i said.

"I was 6 years old and I was at a party, this person's parents had a pool and we were all in the backyard. My friends and I were talking about this same subject (embarrassing things) and when I told them mine, my friends said, "That's not the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you." I looked at him and asked why and his response: "This is" and pushed me into the pool." Lucas said.

"Wow that is so embarrassing" i said sarcastically

"Yeah Yeah What is your most embarrassing moment." Lucas said.

"Well.. when i was 3 years old i went visit my grandparents for a week and i was really hungry because we had to travel for 2 hours just to get there so my grandmother made cake and when it was done i ate the whole thing in less than a minute and my mom thoughts it would be a great idea if she took a picture and now that is still to that day the most embarrassing this ever." I said.

"Hello Lucas" Missy said.
