Gilbert's P.O.V.

Throughout the next few weeks me and Antonio got closer and closer, but so did me and Ludwig. As always, me and Ludwig spent a few hours every night hanging out during the week. But most of my weekends went to Antonio, going back and forth between our houses every other weekend. As weeks turned to months we got into a routine, then the routine was broken. It started with Antonio sitting somewhere else during lunch. Then our weekends together became less and less often, leaving me at home almost every weekend. Most of that time was spent with Ludwig.

*TIME-SKIP 2 YEARS*

No P.O.V.

Over the past two years Gilbert's been noticing some changes in Ludwig. The most noticeable thing was how much taller he had gotten. But more recently Ludwig's voice started cracking, which made sense, since he was about thirteen now. Gilbert knew what was happening, he went thought that same thing when he was about thirteen also. Gilbert still doesn't know who his tattoo changed for, but more and more everyday he thinks it's his brother.

One weekend Gilbert was playing with Gilbird, and without even knocking Ludwig bursted into his room. He was wearing one of his muscle shirts, and was looking down at his tattoo. "Bruder, my tattoo changed. I don't know vhy or how, but it did."

Gilbert looked down at him, furrowing his brow. "Vho have you been around? Jou vould have felt it ze second jou looked at zem." Gilbert felt his back tingle, but it must have been just remembering when it originally happened.

"No one just jou. It didn't even happen vhen I vas around anyone. I just got out of ze shower and looked in ze mirror. Zen I turned away, and felt it." Ludwig looked up at Gilbert his whole body getting chills. "Nein, i-it's jou. Gilbert, it's jou."

Gilbert blinked a few times, getting up from his bed, "Are jou sure? I kinda had a feeling ze day ve met at ze hospital." Gilbert put Gilbird back in his cage, walking closer to Ludwig. "I have never shown jou my tattoo. But from vhat I see of jours, zey match very vell."

Ludwig watched his every move, he couldn't take his eyes off him anymore. "Can I see it? Jour tattoo?" He didn't know why he wanted to see it so bad. But he would give anything to see it right now.

"Heh, okay, i'll show jou." Gilbert felt a little self conscious, but he wanted to give him what he wanted. He grabbed the hem of his shirt, pulling it over his head in one motion.

Ludwig gasped slightly when he seen his brothers body. He could see the lines of where his brothers muscles were flexing. Then he felt something he has never experienced before. His pants started to get tighter, and it was uncomfortably pleasant. He looked down, seeing what was happening. "Mein Gott." He looked back up at Gilbert, not wanting to make it obvious.

Gilbert knew what was happening, but he didn't want to embarrass Ludwig any farther. Gilbert knew what he was going threw, and wasn't making it any easier on him by showing him his awesome body. Gilbert turned around to show him his back"zey vere originally just two parallel bones. But zat day I first saw jou, I physically felt zem cross."

Ludwig smiled, inspecting every inch of his back. "Mine vas a burning feeling, but a good burn."

Gilbert turned back to Ludwig, wanting to see his tattoo in more detail. Not bothering to put his shirt back on, "I see, ze eyes look like burning coals of a fire."

Ludwig looked at his arm then at his brother. "Ze eyes are red, like jours." Ludwig just looked into his eyes, finally breaking eye contact when there was a knock on the door.

Gilbert quickly put his shirt back on, going to answer the door. "Ja ve vill be right down." Gilbert turned back to Ludwig. "She said lunch is ready."
