Chapter one: a new school

Teyana's pov

Saturday

I woke up with a start. I turned to look at the clock. It read '3 am'. That was the third time i woke up. I'm just to nervous to be starting school at Ghettowood high.  Some of my friends go there , but the name is a major turns off. Today, I have a tour of the school with some kid named, Langston. I heard from some people that he is in a jerking group with some of his friends.

     At 7am, I shower, put on a black tank and put my teal nike sweatshirt over it. I slip on some black jeans, elite socks, and my teal huaraches. I decided to leave my hair curly. I check up on some of my social media accounts, while I wait.

I check the time and see its 7:50. I need to go. I jump in my black Jeep and start driving. Its not a very big city. Hopefully, I can find it without a GPS.

Langston's pov

I woke up early because I'm supposed to give a new student a tour of the school. I walk to the school and see a Jeep in the parking lot. I thought it would be a guy because most girls around here are interested in girly cars with cute colors. I was surprised to find out that the owner of the Jeep was actually a female.

"Hi, are you Langston?" She asks, putting some of her curly hair behind her ear

"Yes, im your tour guide for today." I reply.

"Okay." She answers back.

We walk throughout the school, and I occasionally stop to tell her a few facts about the school.

" Welcome to Ghettowood High. We have the highest percentages in the county. Don't let the name fool you. Only 90% of the school is actually ghetto." I explain with a wink, trying to make the tour more interesting.

She laughs, then stops when she hears me continue to talk.

"By the way, we do have an underground aquarium. Our sports team was sponsored by the National aquarium for few years and the teams so well that they gave us an aquarium."

"That's nice, show me!"
