Chapter 2

Trixi POV

I woke up and Danny's arms were wrapped around me, I guess he liked cuddling? I tried to get out of bed, but his grip got tighter. I licked the side of his face and his eyes shot wide opened and he sat up. "Ewww!" He yelled. I giggled. He just glared at me, I got out of bed and grabbed my bag and walked into the bath room and changed into the outfit I packed with my pajamas. I came out and walked into his room. He just stared at me and started giggling. I rolled my eyes and say down. What can I say? I like to be noticed. I smiled at the thought. "I'm going home for a bit." I told him. He nodded. I prayed my father was passed out in his room, but instead I walked home to a very drunk and awake father. "Where the futh have youuuu been youuu bith?!" My father's words slurred. Fear over took my body. I stayed frozen as he got closer. "Been slipping around, have youuuu, youu bith!" He shouted at me, then slapped me, my head flung to the other side and hit the wall, tears formed in my eyes. He slapped me again, harder. He kicked my leg, I dropped to my knees. What did I do to deserve this? I laid on my side waiting for a kick to the stomach, I tensed when I felt a boot to the ribs. I screamed in agony, I felt it was so loud that Danny heard it. Tears came out like a river. My dad turned and laid on the couch. I closed my eyes & the darkness took over.

Danny's POV I heard a loud scream and it's been 4 hours since I last seen Trixi, she hasn't even answered my texts. I got my shoes on and walked over to her house to see her laying on the floor unconscious & a passed out father on the couch, the door was open, so I let myself in, picked her up bridal style & carried her to my house, I got ice for her bruises, she has a big one where her ribs are. I kissed her head. Her eyes fluttered. "Ah! Danny!!!" She screamed and started crying, I brushed her hair back."Shhh, my love." I whispered. I picked her head up & laid her on my lap, I just played with her hair as she fell asleep. I had to admit, I'm starting to like Trixi, not that I haven't before. But this time, it's different. Whats going on with me?! I looked down at her, and smiled. She was so beautiful with her brown hair. What is this feeling in my stomach?! I need to make it go away.... I had my mother drive me to the hospital. They put her on medication to sleep & help for the pain, but we would have to go they said. So me & my mom left waiting for the next moring. But about 2am I got a text from Trixi ♥

Trixi: Where am i?

Me: At the hospital hun, you were beat pretty bad, What happened?

It took her long to write back.

Trixi: My dad, he is a drunk & abusive.

Me: Trixi, you have to goto the police....

Trixi: But.... He's my dad!

Me: But he beat you!!!

Trixi: But he doesn't mean to... I know he doesn't...

Me: Hun... He does. Your going to live with me and my mom, If I see another mark on you, his ass is dead.

Trixi: Danny?

Me: Yea?

Trixi: Your the best ♥
