Teresa's POV

Last night was a blur, filled with extra planning, talking, and little sleep. Even if we had given ourselves time to sleep no one would of. Today this would all end. It was either is or them and everyone knew it.

All the preparations had been made and we were ready. The only people staying behind were those with children.

"Hey Teresa!" Tomas called as he ran over to me. "I was thinking, maybe I should stay with you while your hacking into the system, in case you get caught." He said. He scratched the back of him head and tapped his foot, both things he did when he was nervous.

"Thomas, I'll be fine by myself. It's best you stay with the rest of the group, they see you as the leader."

"But Minho and Newt can lead just fine. Trust me I know you can take care of yourself, I just couldn't live with myself if something happened to you and I wasn't there to stop it." He sighed.

"Fine, I guess if it's that important." I sighed and smiled wrapping him in a hug. "Honestly Tom, you really shouldn't worry so much."

"After everything that's happened I don't think that's possible." He lets out a dry laugh.

"Alright shanks let's move!" I hear Minho yell. Thomas and I run through the camp to where the others were. As a group we ran to the truck. After a long ride we were at WICKED headquarters.

Tomas's POV

"Ok you all know the plan! Teresa and I are going to wipe the program while you guys follow Newt and Minho to kill Jansen and anyone who stands in your way. Got it?" I said.

Everyone nodded eagerly. It was sad what we had been reduced to, killing so many people, but it wasn't just for revenge. It was for the sake of all of our lives.

"Are you guys sure about this?" Minho asked.

"Positive." Teresa nodded.

"Alright, then we'll see you shanks once it's done, that is if we don't all die a bloody death..."

"Really not helpful Minho." We rolled out eyes and had one last laugh before running inside.

A small group of older men went in first to see if the coast was clear. Once a signal was sent, Newt and Minho would lead the rest inside to create distraction so Teresa and I could find a computer and shut everything down.

A rock rolled out from the inside of the door, that was the signal.

Minho nodded to me as he lead the group into certain death. WICKED had better weapons, security, and more workers but it was all worth it if we could pull it off.

The dark sky trembled and it started to rain. The small drops poured over us in a fast rhythm as we stood in front of the doors.

"I guess that's our queue." Teresa said. He face showed worry with a bit of excitement. I nodded and we ran inside. I heard the familiar ring of gunshots and we traveled through the dark corridors. We made sure to travel away from the loud sounds in our search.

"In here!" Teresa lead me into a room with a large computer. "Shut the door and lock it." I did as she asked.

Teresa's POV

I ran over to the computer knowing we probably didn't have much time before we were found. I remembered the shut down code, I wasn't supposed to know it but when I was still working here I overheard someone talking about it and when to use it. I opened the files and typed in the kill code: WICKED IS NOT GOOD.

I was about to hit send until the door was slammed open and five of WICKEDs guards came in. Thomas went right to work with his gun blazing. I took out my gun and started shooting too.

In the madness I had almost forgot about the mission. Putting my gun down for a second I hit send. The computer went black, as did every computer in the facility. WICKED was gone but that didn't stop its employees.

"Teresa!" Tom screamed. I turned to see a guard pointing his gun strait at me.

It all seemed to go in slow motion, I knew the bullet was coming at me but I couldn't move. Then, Thomas jumped in front of me getting hit by the bullet himself.

A/N
Sadly, there will probably be only one more chapter and an epilogue. I'm so sad this is ending soon! This is such a huge cliffhanger too!! Lol.
