Chapter 5 - The Dare

A/N Yeah, yeah I know these are cheesy titles but oh well... I don't really care. I also thought the video was pretty cool so... Yeah... Ok now on with the story!

~Katrina's POV~
I saw that we were all blushing and I started laughing again.
"Hm... Um.... Jack, truth or dare?", I said. My face finally stopped blushing. Ugh... Stupid face! Why did you have to betray my emotions?! Oh well.
"Uh... Truth?", EJ answered, although it came out sounding like a question. I put my head in my hand and thought for a bit.
"Hmmm.... Well... Um.... Oh! Ok... Who do you have a crush on?", I asked taking my head off my head to look at Jack.
"That's classified", Jack said quietly. He started playing with his fingers and looked at the ground.

~EJ's POV~
Shit. I can't tell her I like her! That will just ruin our friendship. I don't want that to happen. She is such a good friend. Yeah she kissed me, but she kissed everyone else, too. Plus, it was a dare! She better not ask again. Jeff and Ben were looking at me smirking. Thankfully, I had my mask on and they couldn't see my face. I was lucky enough to not have to change into my human form today for today was Halloween. Katrina looked at me a bit longer and then sighed.
"Alright. Your turn", she said sounding slightly defeated. I let out the breath I had no idea I was holding.

~Katrina's POV (for a moment)~
I stared at him, trying to see what could be going on in that adorable head of his. Wait... What?! No no no! Ok calm down, Katrina. Ugh... I'm such an idiot... Oh well... If Jack doesn't want to tell me then, I won't push it.
"Alright. Your turn", I said in defeat. I heard him sigh in relief. That made me smirk.

~Jack's POV~
Hm... I don't know who to ask... Oh! I got it! I looked at Jeff and grinned evilly. Jeff looked at me, saw my expression, and then started to play with his knife nervously. I chuckled a bit.
"Oh Jeffy!", I said in a sing song voice.
"Shit...", Jeff mumbled. "Yes Jack?" He said out loud.
"Truth or dare?", I asked in the same voice. I heard a low stream of cusses come out of his mouth.
"Watch your fucking language, Jeffy", Katrina said laughing. My heart fluttered a bit and my face heated up. Jeff mumbled again and then huffed.
"Fine! I pick dare!", he said in frustration. I thought for a bit.
"Ok. Hug the cutest one in this room. And Smile Dog doesn't count", I said with mischief laced in my words. Jeff glanced around nervously. He turned to Katrina and gave her a quick hug then looked down at the floor. My grin fell. No. He can't like Katrina! She's mine! Wait! Wait! No! She can like who ever she wants. She's just my best friend. I looked at Katrina's and saw a slight blush on her checks. I growled a bit. Luckily, no one heard.
"Go Jeff", I said in a monotone.

~Jeff's POV~

I looked at everyone in the circle and then my gaze landed on Gage. I grinned.

"Gage. Truth or dare?", I said and saw him straighten up a bit.

"I... Um... Truth...", Gage said quietly. He's such a baby.

"Why do you like Katrina?", I asked him in all out curiosity.

"Wait... How'd you know?", Gage said, his eyes going wide.

"It's really obvious", I stated. Gage face palmed.

"Fine. She is my soulmate", Gage said so quietly that I had to lean in a bit to hear him. I snickered. Everyone else started laughing, too, even Katrina. Gage growled.

~Gage's POV~

I glared at them. Even Katrina was laughing.

"Katrina! Truth or dare?", I yelled over the top of them in rage. They stopped.

"Dare", Katrina said with her usual confidence. I smirked.

"I dare you to go into the mansion!", I shouted while jumping up and pointing in the general direction of the house on the hill. Everyone gasped and started talking all at once.

~Katrina's POV~

"You can't do that to her!", EJ yelled at Gage.

"What if she dies?", Toby said at the same time. Jeff and Ben just sat there with their eyes wide in shock. We would never dare each other to do something as dangerous as that.

"T-", Gage started.

"Guys!", I shouted over top of them, "Who even knows what's really in there? Maybe the stories were just something Old man Peter made up? I will go but, you all have to come with me."

"Gah! Fine", Gage was the first to agree to my condition, since he really wanted to know what was really in there.

"Well, I know that there is no changing Katrina's mind and wherever she goes, I go", Jack said, finally overcoming his shock and standing up.

"Since you all are going and I'm really curious as to what is in there, I'm in", Ben said, standing up after EJ.

"I don't wanna be left here so, count me in!", Toby said, enthusiastically as he jumped up and gave me a high five. We all looked at Jeff.

"Alright! I'll go but, I won't like it!", Jeff said, reluctantly while he stood with the rest of us.

"Now that that's out of the way, let's play a different game!", I shouted in delight.

A/N I know this chapter wasn't that good but whatever. I will try to update sometime next week before the weekend comes. If I don't, I will update the weekend after. I hope you guys like the story so far!
