Waking Up

Lucy's POV

It was dark. I could faintly hear voices. What is it? I don't see anything and it feels like I'm floating. Then I hear a buzzing noise. I flinch as it gets louder. I then see images of people. They look familiar and they all have the same mark. The mark almost looked like a fairy with a tail. The noise turns into a screeching noise, making me cover my ears. The screeching stops, making me uncover my ears. Then a little beam of light appears. I widen my eyes but reach for the light. I slowly float over there with my right hand reaching out. I finally touch the light, as soon as my whole body touches the light, everything goes white.

I gasp as I open my eyes. I look up and see a white ceiling. I groan as I sit up. I look around and see a hospital looking room but with no windows. I rub my head and then a bunch of hair gets in my face. My hair was a light pink. I look in front of me and see a tall mirror. I slowly stand up and walk to the mirror and put a hand on it. My eyes were an onyx color. I look at my clothes and short white dress with a ribbon around the waist and a giant pink bow on the back. I was wearing white heels with a small pink bow on them. I sigh and think 'What is my name? Who am I? Where am I?' I walk up to the door and open it. I come face to face with a white hall way. I look down one end and see another door. I look down the other end and see a bunch of doors, but one door was open and a man was peeking out.

I walked up to the man at the same time he walked up to me. As soon as I got closer, I saw some familiar colors on him that I don't remember. He had spiky blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. He was wearing a white shirt with an open black jacket over and he was wearing some black dress pants. We both widen our eyes. We both run forward and hug each other as fast as we can. I cry in his shoulder and he cries in my hair. We pull back but he says "How do I know you, but at the same time I don't?" I shake my head saying "I don't know, I feel the same. Where are we?" He shrugs saying "more importantly, who are we? What are our names?" I open my mouth to answer but then a booming voice  interrupts "Your names are Layla DragonHeart and Igneel DragonHeart" A man walks out. He had blue hair and black eyes. He had a scar on his cheek. He was wearing a tuxedo. I instinctively grab Igneel's arm. The man looks at us and bows saying " My name is Kin Akamasu. I'm a friend" I narrow my eyes as Igneel says "Why are we here? Where are we?!" Kin chuckles and mumbles something under his breath. He only sighs and says "follow me, I'll give you some answers."

We followed him to a living room, or what it looks like. It had a fire place along the wall, the walls were painted a dark red. There were three chairs, one on one side and two on the other. Kin sits on the one chair while me and Igneel sit in the other chairs. I narrow my eyes at Kin as he clears his throat. Kin sighs saying "you two were married, you were both in the same guild. However you both did something forbidden and started to run from the law. Eventually you got caught on a cliff side. The magic council held you at gun point until you both made the decision to jump off the cliff. You mush not remember the rest but you two survived the fall and I found you two. I took you both here. I wouldn't have thought that you two lost your memories. We were also friends for years now." I narrow my eyes but Igneel only nods saying "can we be alone so we can take in the information?" Kin nods and says "of course" Then he leaves the room.

I hug Igneel and whisper in his ear "there are cameras in the room. But anyway, there's something wrong with his story." Igneel hugs me back and whispers in my ear "yeah, how did he know all of this, I don't see any wedding rings or guild marks. Also he didn't tell us what we did that was forbidden." I nod and whisper back "act like you suspected nothing. Lets act like a married couple until we find out who we really are and what he wants. We'll leave this place when the time is right" Igneel nods softly then we pull back. We lean in and kiss. After a minute, we pull back and stand up while holding hands. We walk out the door and follow Kin, still keeping up the act.
