Kin's Request

Lucy/Layla POV

We went to Kin's office, after putting our presents in our room, and we sat in the fancy white chairs. Kin had his hands intertwined and his head on top of them. He smiles at us saying "Hi, Layla and Igneel" We nod and greet him back with a simple hello. Kin puts his hands down saying "I have a request for you two" I look at him with a  blank face saying "request, sure, what is it?" Kin smiles saying "I want you two to go to the town of Cedar and get something for me." Igneel tilts his head saying "What do we have to get?" Kin sighs saying "Its a potion, a special potion. I need you to go to the old woman named Kisa and say 'I have come here for the Maindokontorōru' then she will hand you the potion" We nod then I say "I will get a job to cover our real mission so the weak Fairies won't suspect a thing" Kin nods saying "good, You may leave tomorrow." We nod and stand. We took a shower, got on some Pajamas and hopped in bed. As usual, Igneel hugs me around my waist. Then we fall asleep.

We wake up and see only Mavis in the usual place. We sat down on some chairs that magically appeared. Mavis smiles saying "What did Kin want? I know you didn't leave so early for no reason" I sigh and say "Well, he wanted us to go to the town of Cedar and get a potion called Maindokontorōru." Mavis widens her eyes and says "Natsu, Lucy, do NOT give that potion to Kin!" Igneel tilts his head saying "why?" Mavis slams her hands on the table that randomly appeared and says "He is setting his plan into motion! After you give that potion to him, he will slip it into some of your food and make you use Celestial Flames" We widen our eyes so I say "I have an idea, what if you came with us on the mission. You take the potion and swap it with a fake one. Then you take the real potion and destroy it!" Mavis rubs her hands together in thought then nods saying "that's actually a really good plan, I can touch whatever I want, ghost or not!" Igneel puts a hand on mine saying "Mavis, can you also make a fake mission for us to take to Cedar? We want to make it seem like we're going on a mission." Mavis nods saying "Of course!"

The next day, we went to the guild. Mavis, who was on the bar, smiles and nods at me. We act like we don't see her, then we walk up to master as he calls us over. He hands us the fake request saying "Here, I found a perfect Mission for you two. I grabbed it before anyone else did. May Mavis watch and give us good luck!" We smile and nod in knowing. I then look at master and say "Thank you, we were needing money soon anyways! May Mavis give you luck as well" Master chuckles and waves us off saying "go have fun brats!" We nod then walk out of the guild with Mavis floating behind us. Me and Igneel look at each other and nod. Mavis smiles behind us saying "Act like I'm not here. Kin is still watching you two"
