Chapter 6

Joe

"You've got me laughing while I sing, you've got me smiling in my sleep. And I can see this unraveling, your love where I'm falling, but please don't catch me."

Demi took a deep breath and handed her microphone to the stage hand and I handed her a water bottle. "You did great." I told her.  Neither of us had spoken of the kiss, but I had definitely thought of it.

I realize I only have a week left her, then this will all just be a dream. I've gotten some great notes and my piece is coming along great. I wish I could tell demi my feelings for her. It's just like Every time we spend time together barb is there. She's always making sure everything we do is okay for the press to see.

When she's not around barb, she's usually trying to talk to her family. It's hard for her to find time when her life is filled with workouts, fittings, press conferences, etc.

Demi went back on the stage and she started her next song. I've seen this a billion times. Her "Confident" dance. "What's wrong with being Confident," she sang.

"Notice me, take my hand. Why are we strangers when, our loves strong." the music was graceful. "& Every time I see you in my dreams, I see your face. It's haunting me. I guess I need you baby." she sang.

"Play another demi!" someone yelled. She chuckled, "okay guys, I've got one last song."

Ive been singing forever, all these love songs yet I've never been in love. Until now. It's kind of funny. I don't know if Joe really feels the same way. But it seems like I just fall harder and harder everyday. Crazy because he's only been here for a week.

I have to tell him that I like him or it'll kill me. He's the one thing I've ever really wanted. I put that on my life.
