Joe

I stepped on the dirt. "Is this your first rodeo?" demi asked me. I held her hand as we sat at the very top of the bleachers away from the people. She had sunglasses on and a scarf around her neck. It was a little chilly out.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm taking it it's not yours?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Definitely not." she chuckled. I smiled and kissed her cheek.

The rodeo part was little boring to me. Just a bunch of old guys trying to hold on to a wild animal. It's definitely not my cup of tea. I'm a New York guy from head to toe. I pretended to like it for demi though.

"Do you want to cut out a little early? So no one sees me?" demi asked. I nodded and we stood up. I let demi go first trying to use their manners.

"Guys it's demi lovato!" a voice from the crowd said.

Demi stopped frozen in her steps. "Fuck." I heard her say quietly. She stood up and smiled. I feel like this date is about to get majorly interrupted by 10,000 Volunteers.

Demi took her glasses off and smiled at them politely. "Sing, sing, sing!" they shouted. Demi looked at me with pleading eyes. I understood. "Duty calls." I said kissing her cheek.

The walked demi up to the middle of the pin and got all the bulls out. "Do y'all know the words to Best Song Ever?" Demi asked.

Demi

I felt terrible for ditching Joe on our date. I really did. But I can't have any bad publicity. I hope he'll understand.

I continued to sing the song as the music starts.

Said his name was Joeee, and his daddy was a dentist. Said I had a dirty mouth.

I changed some of the words around. I really and truly felt guilty. I got off of the stage and Joe was waiting on me. I asked them to make an announcement that I'm spending time with family and can't be bothered. Hopefully everyone would respect me.

I felt the stares of everyone but I was used to it. "Do you want to get a funnel cake and find somewhere to watch the fireworks?" I asked Joe. He nodded at me. "Yeah," he said with a smile.

We went to the funnel cake stand and waited in the 30 minute like just like everyone else. Honestly, it was the most normal that I have felt since before being famous.

We sat on the top of a hill and saw the fireworks coming down. "I'm sorry about having the leave for a little bit." I told joe. He smiled and put his arm around me. "Don't sorry about it." he told me.

The fireworks started and I couldn't help but state at Joe. I stared at how handsome he was especially with all the lights flashing back over at me. I knew I was caught when he looked back over.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked me. I smiled. "Just admiring you." I told him. He smiled at me and kissed my lips.

"Did you know your my first boyfriend?" I asked Joe. He smiled. "Did you know I'm also your last boyfriend?" he asked.
