"I didn't know if I could help him but I had to try, I couldn't just leave him there like that, aunt Kay, I had to try to help him, I had to try.." my voice faded into a whisper as I looked down into Skye's chocolate, hazel colored eyes. there is something more to this dog then meats the eye I thought as I glanced up to look at Kay. She was waiting patiently for me to continue where I left off. Shifting in my seat I continued. " I knelt down next to him and sat, pulling his head into my lap and placing one of my hands on his head and taking the dogs paw in my other hand I closed my eyes and reached for my power gathering it together inside me concentrating I pushed the power to my hands and then into the dog I felt my life force flowing from me into the dog laying before me his body soaked it up greedily. I started to feel drained and tired, and pins and needles went through my hole body and I slumped over letting go of his paw I cradled his head between both of my hands as I healed him. Finally after what felt like for ever I called my power forcing it to came back to me, but it felt different this time, it wasn't like healing plants and I didn't know what to expect honestly because I have never healed anything bigger then a rose bush before I said looking at Kay." She nodded her head with a troubled look on her face. "Go on" she said looking at me expectantly. "My power felt different, strange, and when I looked inside myself to where it lay, I found something new..." I said quitly."Really what was it" Kay said her eye brows rose slightly. "A single strand of power it was separate from my main source but connected to it , and when I touched the strand, I found that it was connected to the dog. That's how I knew his name, I herd him think it." I looked up at Kay, "do you know what this means?" I asked fear making my voice tremble. "no" Kay said"I don't, but your powers are growing Sam and this type of thing could be normal for a abnorm with a transference gift". She said. "Ok" I said in a small voice not really believing her. "Have you touched the strand since you heard his say his name?" Kay asked. I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "I didn't hear him speak, Aunt Kay I heard him think his name and no I haven't." After that... I left the sentence unfinished, "happened," I said waving my hand in the air and pointing at the dog with my other hand, " I was slammed back into my own mind and body." I cringed and crossed my arms over my chest "and by the way, that shit hurt" I said looking at the dog as if it was his fault witch in a way it was. I glared at the dog and he moved his head from my lap turned and walked into the kitchen and laid down by the table, he huffed at me and turned his back to me as if I had hurt his feelings. I continued to glare at the dog. And mumbled under my breath "he probably did it on purpose" Kay looked at the dog and then looked at me and started to laugh.
