Chapter 6

1 year later.....

Little kids dancing,

Girls prancing

Around like Nancy,

Women fancy,

Diamonds & Jewels

Feathers & tools

Men working,

Come home thirsty,

You give 'em a bite to eat,

They come back for more & more!

Clouds blur my vision,

Why don't I see my lover,

Why am I NOT seeing anything anymore?

I am lost in a world I don't know,

It's dark at times,

Then I dream,

I dream a dream with a man,

& two beautiful little girls,

& then I see me,

Me wearing heels,

Then they peeled,

They peeled off my feet by that man,

Then he loved me,

He loved me in bed & out,

He loved me everyday,

& those little girls,

Those little girls called me Mommy,

Mommy....

I'm a mom....?

They yelled for me to wake up,

& that man,

That man was MY MAN,

he begged me to wake up too,

But wake up from what?

I was alive right?

Cuz all of that seemed soo real to me,

The little girls began to play outside,

& a black car pulled up at that,

At that stop sign right there,

Over there, right in front of the yard,

At the end, at the end of the yard,

BANG! BANG! POP! POP!

I yelled as I saw my man & my Daughters get shot in front of me & I Couldn't do ANYTHING about it Because my body wouldn't let me go ANYWHERE.!

I sat up quickly looking around like a crazed monster. As my eyes regained focus I see Lavelle, Autumn, Winter, Shay, and Diamond crying, then rushing over to me. They hug me & kiss me. I'm still in a shocked mode, no happy expression on my face.

"When should we tell her?" Lavelle asked

"Not right now, wait until she gets home." Shay says.

"Wha-, what's goin on?" I say stuttering looking at Lavelle & Shay.

"Nothin baby, just lay back down....." Lavelle said.

"No! Tell me!" I yell angrily

"No! Now lay back down!" Lavelle yells pushing the covers back over me.

"Why won't you guys tell me?" I say sobbing/Crying hard and laying back down.

"Oh hun, because it's too early for you to be even more stressed out. Don't worry." Shay says brushing my hair back with her hand & rubbing my back.

Lavelle has his head in his hands. I turn to him.

"WHY WON'T YOU TELL ME! YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH!," I yell at him, sitting up.

I turned to my friends.

"DON'T PUT ME THROUGH ANY MORE HELL! STOP KEEPING SECRETS FROM ME! THAT'S NOT WHAT FAMILY DOES! NOW TELL ME!" I yell, big tears rolling down my cheeks. My fists balled up.

Lavelle doesn't even look up at me. He starts to cry, so does everyone else. Lavelle stands up & faces me, tears running down his face.

"You got two daughters. There's also something I'll have to tell you when we get home too." He said, then wiping all his tears away, sitting back down.

"Wow....how? I never knew I was pregnant. Oh my gosh...." I said gasping, shocked, & happy. But happy isn't on my face.

"Why did'nt y'all just tell me?" I said crying & looking at all them.

"Because this." Autumn said pointing at my tears, wiping them away.

"And we didn't want you to be extra stressed. It was a group decision." Diamond said walking over to me, grabbing my hand.

"We love you. We even brought you in all this stuff too." Winter said pointing around to all the stuff filled in the room.

I smiled.

"Thank you all. Lavelle." I say looking at him.

He looks up at me.

"I love you." I said

"I love you too." he said kissing me.

"I would like to see my children. How old are they?" I said.

"They're new borns. They were just born two days ago." Shay says.

"When can I see them?" I asked.

"I'll go get the doctor & see." Lavelle says gently squeezing my hand, then walking out of the room.

10 mins later Lavelle comes back into the room.

"Here they are." Lavelle said as the doctor wheeled in a cart.
