Mika's POV
April Seventh. My son Aiden Isaiah Savage was born March twenty-nineth 2011. From that moment we've had vampires following us everywhere at night. Zane wants a war. He wants Lucinda. Well he can't have her! Fuck him.
It's two in the afternoon. I'm home with Stephen and Aiden. He's in my arms. Aiden not Stephen. He's so small. He has blue eyes and black hair. I hold him as I sit on the couch. I didn't go to school. Stephen and I have been planning on a way to hide from the vampires. "I think we might have to leave Maine Mika." Stephen tells me
"And go where?" I ask him
"Maybe to your parents?"
"Why the hell would we go there?"
"It'd be for like a couple of weeks. Tops. Only til we find somewhere else."
"So you want all of us to just up and move to New York without those leeches noticing? Are you insane?"
"It's our only option for now Mika. Besides we'll do it in the daytime. And it'll give them at least a couple of weeks to find us."
"Fine. We'll go."
"I'm glad you agree 'cause I already called your mother. She said we could as long as we don't act up."
"You spoke to the devil? Without telling me?"
"I knew you wouln't want to so I did it for you. You're welcome."
"You are so lucky I'm holding Aiden."
Lucinda, Duncan, Beth, Emmett and Cole walk in. "People, people start packing we leave in the morning." I tell them
"What? Why?" Lucinda asks me
"Is it 'cause of the um......" Cole tries saying but stops since Beth's here
"What's going on? Why do you have to move?" Beth asks us
"Tell her Lucinda." Stephen tells Lucinda
Lucinda's POV
"Tell me what? What's going on?" She asks me
"If I told you, you'd never believe me." I sigh
"Try me."
"Fine. Well....Stephen, Mika, Cole, Emmett, and Duncan are.....werewolves. And Zane's a....vampire."
"You're right I don't believe you."
"I know it sounds insane Beth, but I'm telling the truth."
"Werewolves? Vampires? What's next fairies?"
"That's what I said." Duncan sighs
"Shut it." Stephen snaps at him
"You're insane if you think I'm honestly going to believe you. Why are you telling me this?" Beth asks me
"Because crazy as it is this is the truth." I tell her
"Why are you doing this?"
"I'm not the most normal person here either."
"And what are you? A witch? Sure!"
"Beth I'm serious!"
'This is so fucking insane! She honestly thinks I'm going to believe her?' She thinks
"Well I hoped you would just trust me. I know it's fucking insane, but it's true." I tell her
"How-how did you..."
"I'm way more different than just having yellow eyes."
"How do you honestly expect me to believe you?"
