As Demi sat at her desk the happiness slowly faded as she realised that she had a boyfriend that she was not happy with. He stayed out drinking every night and on more than one occasion he had threatened her but she couldn't find the strength to break away from him. They had history. Demi was still clinging to that single ray of hope that he could change, he was just going through a rough patch and that he would soon get over it. He would come back the same as he had been before he could still be the boy that she loved so much. She knew that beneath all the bad the good was still there struggling to get to the surface. Occasionally the good would break through and they would spend a while happy and at peace with the world and Demi would think that everything was back to normal but I wasn't it wasn't okay and deep down Demi knew that but even after coming to this realisation she still couldn't find the strength to leave him. She still believe that they could work things out. It would all be okay in the end. Everything would.

Hey Demi, I need you to set me up a meeting with the stock suppliers because it seems that they've messed up our order. I'd like you to be present at the meeting also. So don't make plans.

To: Justin

Okay. When are you free?

To: Demi

I was asking about the meeting, but just what are you implying?

I'm implying that for you my dear I'm always free.

Well the meeting is now scheduled in for Friday afternoon 1 pm sharp.

To: Demi

Are you rejecting me?

To: Justin

From: Demi

I'm simply not answering your question. No rejection. No agreement.

Demi then signed out of her emails and pursed her lips. She was intrigued by Justin to say the least but not enough to betray her boyfriend never enough for that.
