As soon as Demi reached the car with the safe knowledge that Joe was not following her she breathed in a deep breath and for the first time in a long time she felt free. Like she had been juggling heavy weights and suddenly she had just dropped them and was free to walk away. She relaxed into her chair. Letting herself sink into it and feeling the plush padding under her she let out a heavy sigh.

Then the car started and she looked over to see Justin sitting in his seat looking at her. Demi bit her lip as she waited for him to break the silence. As time passed she realised that he wasn't going to be the one to break the silence.

"why did - ermm - why were you at my house?" she asked before fully thinking her question through.

"I urm, I well.. I urmm-" he said as a blush crept up his neck and colouring his cheeks slightly. His hand coming up to rub the back of his neck. I Demi smiled at the boyish gesture.

"you urm what?" Demi asks teasing him a little. She couldn't resist his struggle for word was one of the cutest things that Demi had ever seen. He was cute. Period.

Justin shot Demi a look that suggested that he knew exactly what she was doing and did not appreciate it. "I came to offer you your job back but with the way your acting its obvious that you do not want your job back." he said raising his eye brows and then directing his eyes back the road. Demi could not help the bubble of happiness that came to expand inside her. A smile spread across her face.

"thank you Justin." was all she said as she look at the road too, noticing how she didn't have a clue and how she had let a guy she had only just met give her a ride in his car. But she didn't feel bad about it at all. Until that is they stopped next to the woods. Then the bubble of happiness that had been growing burst.
