Chapter 13

Chapter 13:

Zayn's POV:

It's been one month. One month of searching. One month of phone calls. One month since I made a huge mistake. My wolf is not taking too kindly to being away from his mate. I never should have rejected her. I should have given her the chance to clarify and defend herself. If I don't get her back or at least hear her voice I'm really going to loose it. My father keeps asking me if he should hold out on giving me complete control over this pack. I'm pretty much the alpha anyways and I think I can handle myself and my pack. I just need my mate back. This pack will fall apart without her. A knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I barked.

In stepped Harry.

"You better have good news or you can leave" I growled.

"Um just answer the phone on line three" he ordered.

"That's a line that only royals use" I informed.

"Well your going to want to hear what they have to say" he said while exiting.

"Hello" I said while picking up the phone.

"Hello. This is the imperial majesty King Le'Britannia. I'm calling for the wear abouts of my daughter. I've been informed that she is your mate but is now missing. Is that correct?" He asked.

"I'm sorry you majesty but I'm not mated to a princess. My mates name is Rachel Zajac. But as far as that's concerned my mate is missing as well" I informed.

"Ah so you really don't know who she is." The way he said it really wasn't a question.

"She's alpha Zajacs daughter" I stated matter of factly.

"He's the royal adviser. Meaning he's not her real father. Anyways we can go into specifics later on. You need to find her though. She can't just be roaming the forest alone." He said before hanging up.

Well then, he didn't even give me a chance to talk. So Rachel's a royal? Well that make sense. I really need to find her. Right when I was about to get up, the phone started ringing. It was a line that only alphas use.

"Hello. Alpha Zayn speaking" I greeted.

"um hi. It's Rachel" those words sent me into shock.

It's her. It's really her. I have so many questions to ask. Wait why is she using another alphas phone? Whatever the point is she's alive.

Logan's POV:

Its been one month since Rachel arrived. I haven't called Zayn yet because rachel begged me not too but i will very soon. I hear he's going crazy trying to find her. And that mark on her arm is starting to loose more petals. Although many still remain they are slowly but surely leaving. I will make sure nothing happens to her. Shes completely healed from loosing her child. After a while it finally dawned on me that Rachel really is a beautiful girl. As much as I wouldn't mind having her as my 'second mate' if you will, I feel like she's more of a sister. And for some reason my wolf feels the need to protect her as if she were a baby. Currently we are outside lying on the grass. Her head is on my chest while our bodies are on the ground. Just two weeks ago we did some research on something that had been bothering her. She wanted to know some information about her parents. As it turns out, she is an imperial wolf. Meaning that shes a high ranking royal. To be exact she is the first princess and third in line to the throne. Her two older brothers are first and second. Around the time of her birth, there were threats sent to the royal family. They had to send her away for her own safety. So she took on a fake name and became the alphas daughter. Her father, the one that raised her, is actually a royal adviser. She was sent to him because it would be the safest thing and the king and queen could keep tabs on her. His real mate was one of the top royal fighters. She was sadly killed in battle. But in order to make rachel think her life is normal he was provided with a fake mate who was sworn to secrecy. Rachel grew up with the name 'Rachel Zajac' daughter of Alpha Zajac. But her real name is 'Princess Rachel Le'Britannia'. But she and I along with the pack librarian are the only ones in my pack who know her true identity.
