I hardly noticed her.
I was leaning against the wall outside the library when she walked up to me wearing a black half cloak that covered everything but below her back. All I could make out was a pair of glimmering eyes walking towards me.

"You came," she said breathily, like she was surprised. "Let's not talk here though, I have a place I'd like to go." She grabbed my wrist, her hand was warm.

I could feel heat rushing to my cheeks. "O-Okay, lead the way." I whispered.

She pulled me outside the school, dodging the cameras. When she stopped walking I realized where we were. The Forever Falls forest. She leaned her back against a tree and removed her hood.

"Yang," she said, dropping her cloak to the ground. "I... I want an answer."

I swallowed hard. "Alright, go for it."

She gave a small smile but she looked sad. "I...there's..." she looked down at the ground. "Sun told me about you two... he said he thinks you like me and you were jealous of him."

My heart twisted into sorts. "D-Did he..." I looked away. "That's quite the accusation, isn't it?" I restrained from tapping my foot, or showing any sign of nervousness. "Well that's---"

"It's true isn't it?"

My eyes immediately darted to her. "What?"

"It's true you like me, right?" she repeated. Her eyes were so focused on mine I felt very nervous and uncomfortable. This time it was me who looked down.

"Y-Yeah...yeah it's...true." I admitted. I stepped backwards before bumping into a tree. "I do like you, but-but I..."

Blake's arms were suddenly around my neck. I was so shocked I couldn't even react, so I just awkwardly hugged her back. "Um...B-Blake?"

She didn't answer. All I could make out was scattered mumbling. Then she looked up at me. "You big idiot, why didn't you say so in the first place?!" I could barely move my mouth to speak.

"All this time I've been rejecting Sun's dates because I was waiting for you to ask me out! I thought you would, I really did! And then you asked to go to the movies with you on tomorrow and I was disappointed because I thought you meant as friends! Then there was all this drama about Sun kissing me---"

I stopped her. "Sun...kissed you?"

Her eyes went incredibly wide. "Yeah... I thought you knew..." she responded almost in a whisper. "It was earlier today, after class, and Sun had taken me to the fountain outside of school...and then he...yeah."

I couldn't feel anything. "Oh." was all I could manage. "Well that's good for him."

"But Yang, it honestly doesn't matter. The point is, I told him I didn't want to be in THAT kind of relationship with him." she smiled. "Because I noticed how jealous you got whenever he was near me. Because I thought that meant you liked me."

I smiled back.

Everything we've gone through this week, everything we've done has led to this moment. All of my feelings of grief and jealously, all of her understanding has carefully led us to this time. This is how it was supposed to be. And to hell with all the cheesiness, all I really want to do is live in this moment.

"I do." I replied. "I really do."

And then she kissed me. And we stayed like that for however knows how long, completely in our own world, under the silver moonlight breaking through the trees.
