Natsu's Secret

Chapter 6

2 years have gone by since Natsu & his blonde beauty started to date. Lots of things have happened within the 2 year time period. Gray & Juvia got started dating, Erza & Jellal got married & had a baby girl named Rosemary, Elfman & Evergreen got married & Levy married Gajeel. Lucy & Natsu were babysitting Rosemary while Jellal & Erza have some time to themselves. Lucy was playing with the baby, while Natsu warmed up her milk bottle. "She's so cute! Is her bottle ready?" Lucy said happily. "Yea, here." Natsu handed his girlfriend the small plastic bottle. Rosemary cried when Lucy tried to feed her. "No, no, no! It's ok. It's just milk. Look, yummy!" Lucy put the bottle up to her lips & pretended to drink the milk. It didn't help. "You wanna try Natsu?"
"Me? Feed a baby?" The blonde smiled. "Why not?" Natsu shrugged & took Rose from Lucy. She immediately stopped crying & when the bottle was close, she took it & drank it. "See? She likes it when you feed her." Natsu looked at the tiny girl in his arms & smiled. "Your really good with her." Lucy said softly, noticing that the baby was falling asleep. "I did have to raise Happy. But Lisanna was with me then."
"Well, you did a good job." They both smiled & looked at the Ferdenanz baby. For the rest of the day, Natsu, Lucy & Rose played with the toys Erza brought & watched a couple movies. At 7:45, Erza & Jellal came to get their daughter. "She really likes Natsu." Lucy told Erza. "It seems she likes guys better than us, huh?" Erza said sarcastically. "Oh, Lucy. We found this outside your door." Jellal handed the blonde the letter. "A letter? From who?" Lucy opened the letter while Natsu looked over her shoulder. Lucy read it, but not aloud. When she & Natsu got to the end, both of their eyes widened. "What's wrong?" Jellal asked. "It's my father. He wants me to come home & marry his business partners son."
"What?! No way! You belong here, with us, with Natsu!" Erza yelled, quiet enough so she would wake her baby. Lucy let out a small laugh. "Don't worry. I'll never leave Mongolia." Lucy said. "We better go." Jellal says. Everyone says their goodbyes & the Ferdenanz's leave. "How could he?! He knows I'll never come back, yet he still tries!" Lucy slumped on the couch. Natsu joined her. "Luce, are you ok?"
"Of course I'm not ok!" The blonde shouts. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell."
"It's fine, Luce. I won't let your father marry you to someone else." Lucy smiled & snuggled closer to Natsu. "Besides, he can't take you away from me."
"No one can take me away from you." Lucy smiled & held her hand up to her stomach. "No one can separate me from my exceed, my girl, or our baby."  Natsu's hand joined with the hand that was on the blondes stomach. Yes, Lucy Heartfilia, soon to be Dragneel, was pregnant. Lucy has been pregnant for 3 months now & her baby bump was starting to show. "When should we tell the guild? They have a right to know about us." The celestial mage asked. "Whenever you want. Your the one who makes all the decisions in this family, remember?" The dragon slayer sarcastically said.  "Well then, we'll tell them tomorrow!"
"Ezra's gunna kill me..." Lucy laughed at her finance. "I'll make sure that doesn't happen. I'm not raising our child alone!" This time, it was Natsu's turn to laugh. Neither of the mages noticed a flying blue exceed come in through the window & land right next to the couple. "What are you guys laughing about?" Happy asked. "Nothing. When did you get here, bud?" Natsu pat the fuzzy head of his best friend. Happy didn't know about Natsu & Lucy's engagement or the baby. "Happy, we have something we want to tell you."
"What is it?" Happy flew down into Lucy's lap & noticed a ring. "Are you & Natsu getting married?!" The exceed hopped around & flew in circles around them. "Actually, yea." Natsu said. Happy was, well, happy! His best friends were getting married! "There's one other thing..." The blonde said smiling. "Lucy's pregnant." Natsu whispered to the cat. Without hesitation, Happy burst. "You're pregnant?! I'm going to be a big brother! We're going to have a family again! Ahhhhhh!!" Happy put his paws on Lucy's stomach.
