Hold up, when Michael said he liked me did he mean as a friend or as more than a friend? I wish that he would be more specific.
"Maybe we should go inside." Michael whispers.
"Y-yeah." I stutter, trying regain control over my stupid hormones. Of course, that's what it is, hormones. I can't really like Michael like that, it must just be my stupid teenage hormones.
Once we get inside he directs me to the couch. "how about we resume that Harry Potter marathon that we started last night?" he suggests.
"Sure." I agree, not really in the mood to do anything.

"Why have I never watched these movies before?!" Michael exclaims at the end of The Order of the Phoenix.
"I cannot answer that." I laugh. I still feel a little bit crummy, but spending the day watching Harry Potter with Michael has helped to cheer me up a bit.
I pop in the next movie and sit back down next to to Michael. He nonchalantly puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me into his side. This action cause my whole body to tingle. I try to ignore it and watch the movie. It doesn't mean anything. Friends cuddle all the time when they watch movies, in fact, Jenna and I can't go an entire movie without cuddling with each other. That doesn't mean that Jenna and I have to be anything more than friends. Cuddling with Michael, therefor, does not mean that there is any sort of attraction towards us.
I lay my head down on his shoulder and almost immediately feel my eyelids getting heavier by the minute. I resolve to close my eyes and just listen to the movie, I've seen it so many times that I know it by heart anyways, but somewhere between the beginning and the end of the movie I nod off into sleep.

"Carm, come on. You gotta get up." Michael says softly, pulling my from my dreams. "I'm hungry and you're literally on top of me."
My eyes shoot open at his words and to my embarrassment he is speaking the truth. Not only that but there is a huge puddle of drool on his shirt from me. "oh my goodness, I'm so sorry." I quickly apologize. "I'm literally so disgusting." I can feel the heat rising in my cheeks and I just know that I look like a tomato.
He just laughs. "its not really that big of a deal considering that I drooled a little in your hair." instinctively my hand flies to my hair, where I once again find that Michael is not lying.
"Good thing I need to take a shower." I joke, no longer feeling so embarrassed.
"Yeah, you do smell pretty bad." Michael plugs his nose and pretends to gag.
I just roll my eyes. "you're smelling a little ripe yourself."
"Maybe I should join you then."
I playfully punch his shoulder. "you are a disgusting human."
"You still love me anyway." he winks.
"No." yeah.
Oh my god, I need to stop myself. Me and Michael are just friends.
Friends who cuddle and make jokes about taking showers together. Nothing more, nothing less. I like what we have going right now and I don't want stupid mixed up feelings to ruin it for me.
"I'm guessing that's a no to the shower." Michael pouts.
"I mean, you can join me if you want," I laugh. "but only because it would be easier to have you wash my back." I joke.
"Only if you wash mine." he jokes back.
I push him off the couch. "lets go eat breakfast you dork."
"But what about our shower?" he whines.
"I thought that you were so hungry." I raise an eyebrow at him.
"I am," he admits, "but a shower with you sounds much more inviting."
I can feel myself begin to blush again, and once more, I can't tell if he is just kidding or if he is actually flirting with me.
I look up at him and he's giving me this big, goofy grin that sends the butterflies in my stomach into a frenzy. I give him a shy smile in return.
"You're really cute when you blush like that." he tells me, causing my face to go an even deeper shade of red. "see, there it goes again."
"Stop!" I whine, covering my face with my hands. "it's not funny."
"I never said it was funny, I said it was cute." he gently pulls my hands from my face. "And I never lie."
I can't help but laugh. "by saying that you never lie, you are actually lying."
"Maybe," he shrugs, "but I'm not lying about how cute you are."
I roll my eyes. "whatever, I'm going to go eat and then take a shower, you can join me if you want." I pause, thinking about what I just said. "for breakfast, I don't actually want you to take a shower with me."
"Awww." he pouts. "I was looking forward to our shower."
"You are such a pig." I tease him.
"And proud of it too." he winks, causing me to laugh so hard that I snort. Great going Carmen, who's the pig now? Michael mocks my snorting and I lightly hit him on the shoulder.
"Come on." I pull him into the kitchen. "I'm starving."
We go into the kitchen and both grab bowls and some cereal. We finish breakfast and I run up to the shower.
"Hey!" Michael calls. "I'm gonna head out for a bit!"
"Okay!" I call back, wondering where he's going but knowing its not really any of my business.
I quickly shower, not really liking being home alone and in the shower, which is a stupid fear but oh well.
I wrap a towel around myself, put my glasses on, and walk to my closet before I decide that I don't really want to get dress and I'm home alone, so I don't really have to. I walk downstairs and am nearly scared shitless when a voice says, "well this is a nice surprise."
I scream, "I thought you were leaving!"
"I was." Michael admits, "but then Maya's parents came home early and caught us."
"Ew, ew that's gross." I stop him before he can go more into detail.
"You should wear your glasses more often."
"Yeah and clothes." I awkwardly laugh, clutching my towel to my body.
"Clothing is optional." Michael winks.
