A/n sorry I haven't updated in forever, but you know, life. but here's and update and at the end I'm gonna tell you guys a funny story that happened to me.

P.s. if you didn't know, I'm a huge patriots fan so I'm in a very good mood!

Okay, enjoy this update.

I just sit at lunch, picking at the sandwich Jenna's mom had packed me. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate her packing me a lunch because my parents obviously aren't going to be paying for school lunches anymore, but the thing about Jenna's family is they're all vegetarians. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that but I haven't had any meat in a couple of days. And I don't wanna be rude and them to buy meat just for me. And I don't have any money of my own.

"Hey," someone says, shaking my shoulder and pulling me out of my thoughts.

I look up to see a grinning Michael. "you should be in class." I scold.

"It's just band." he shrugs.

Honestly, Michael, even though I've heard he's a talented musician, is the last person I would've ever thought would be in band. "tell me again, why are you taking that class?"

"Because I still need an art credit if I want to graduate." he explains. "and I can't draw for shit, and the choir doesn't really sing anything that's my style."

"True, true." I say.

"So," he says, "why do you look so bummed?"

I explain to him my whole situation and he listens sympathetically.

"Wow, I feel really bad for you," he tells me. "so I'm going to make you a really good deal. You come over to my house and help me study tonight and we can order whatever you want."

"Pepperoni pizza?" I ask and he nods. "with some fried chicken."

"Whatever you want." he smiles.

"You are literally my favorite person right now."

"I know." he pretends to flip his hair back. "I'm fabulous."

*~*

"I thought you guys were just friends." Jenna says as we're walking down the hallway. I had just explained to her why I wouldn't be going home with her tonight.

"We are." I tell her. "I'm just going over there to help him study."

"Really? You're going over to his house, where he basically lives all by himself, and you think your just going to study?" she asks. "He's way into you and he's probably going to make a move and you're going to let him because you're way into him."

"What do you even know about boys?" I tease.

"Honey, I've had more boyfriends than you have." she laughs. "which is sad, because I'm gay."

"Wow," I roll my eyes. "way to make me feel good about myself."

"That's what I'm here for." she says in a fake cheery tone. "oh look," she whispers as we round a corner. "it's your boyfriend." then she pushes me straight into Michael.

"I was just about to come find you." he smiles down at me, causing me to blush. "are you ready to go?"

"Um, yeah, I just have stop at my locker." I say awkwardly.

"Okay, I'll walk with you." the whole way to our locker Jenna keeps smiling and intentionally pushing me towards Michael. He takes it like a champ and laughs it off, but I on the other hand, am as red as a ripe tomato.

Once we reach it I fumble with the lock do bad that Jenna has to take over. "You too have fun!" she shouts over her shoulder!

"Well, that was an adventure." Michael says once she is out of sight.

"Yeah." I sigh. "lets go."

*~*

"I don't understand any of this." he says and slams his book in frustration. "I hate my parents for pushing me to do so well in math."

"It's okay," I assure him. "we can take a break if you want." Honestly, I want to take a break too, my brain feels like mush.

"That sounds like a good idea." He sighs. "I'll go order our dinner right now, and then after dinner we can start back up."

"Okay." I agree.

He walks out if the living room where we were both just laying on the floor and into the kitchen. I take the chance to really take in my surroundings, if I hadn't known any better I wouldn't think that anyone lives here. There's nothing personal or homey, no picture anywhere or hand knitted blankets.

I honestly feel bad for Michael.

A/n It's story time. Okay so our school's soccer team is in debt because our athletic director hates soccer and won't give us any of the funds we need to buy the equipment we need, so we were having a bake sale at the basketball/wrestling match and there was at least six if us standing out there selling cupcakes. Well, this kid from the other school's wrestling team comes out of the gym, walks past the other five girls and straight up to me, then says "do you know where a drinking fountain is, my lady."

And me being the awkward person just stood there like "uhhhhhhhhhhh?." Thank god one of the other girls saved my life and went to show him but when she came back she said "he just said 'thank you my lady.'"

And then, about half an hour later, he came back with the rest of his team and they were all buying stuff and he just stood there flirtatiously waving at me and trying to wink but failing at it.

It was one of the most awkward experiences of my life.
