Cupid's Book: Love Can Last A Thousand Years?!

The Book

I'm home, my save haven. I run up stairs and lock the door. I'm breathing hard but all thought is lost. I put my stuff down beside my desk and look at the room. I have a desk with a lamp to the left corner, my bed in the middle pushed to the back wall, and a tv drawer were I keep all the electronics. I plop down in my bed and sigh.
"The nerve of some people. He just is so in a tight spot right now!"   I get so mad I punch the wall. POW! The wall crumbled a little around my fist mark. 
"Sigh, I'ma just read my book and go to sleep."   When I remembered my book I was overjoyed. No matter how many times I read it I will always admire Mr.Kōfuku,  Tengoku Kōfuku. It's a Japanese name but I love it. I read my favorite line of the book.
    "Mr.Kōfuku is an outstanding singer and scientist. He has created a hybrid out of a wolf and a rabbit. He calls it a wolbit. He also has composed and has sung his song The Willow That Weeps at the charity fundraiser. Any person who goes out with this fellow is one lucky gal. Hmmmm? We have reports that he is in fact single and not looking for a relationship. Wow! Now the stakes are higher for any gal who can revive his heart." I lay on my bed as I think over the words.
      "Lucky..... Hmmmm.... Maybe, just maybe I could win him over. Not with my fan girl self but my normal weird personality."   I yawn and feel tired. I guess school took all the energy out of me. I close my eyes and lay the book beside me.
        "If only I was there, if only."
