I cant take silence. I pull him toward me and embrace him. He cries in my arms, his tears hit my heart like bullets. I can't say anything, too afraid that it will ruin it all. I rub his back to ease the pain of sorrow. I lift my hand when his wails grow louder as though the muffled sound did not reach my ears. He quickly snatches my hand and places it on a stream of tears flowing down his face. He moves it in a caressing motion and holds tighter each time his tears grow harder. He lets my hand go and yet I keep the motion and held his face closer to me. Still afraid to speak, I look through his eyes. His eyes guild me to his soul in which I know how to ease. His tears stop, the leak fixed from the dam, for now we only stare at eachother in silence. He laughs.
"I'm stupid aren't I. I cry over the thought of losing you or never showing you happiness. An-and then I take it out on Ai?!" I'm once again speechless as I cannot see his point.
~Why does he think this why, why does he thinks it matters.~ I hold him now even closer to me. I stare off into the vast wasteland of my mind. I'm lost in thought, so deep I can only hear the wails of reality. I revert back to reality to see him once more asleep. Cried himself to sleep has he, for he needed a way to plug up the hole. For sleep can take you away from all that lied in the world. Sleep is a different place where the problem and our past become our best and fulfilling future...
