First of all, I would really like to thank you for reading this strange crossover fanfiction. I am well aware that Fullmetal Alchemist and Gilmore Girls is an odd combination to make a story but for me, it somehow seems right.
The idea was first conceived as a joke between a conversation between a friend and I. We were binge watching both Gilmore Girls and Fullmetal Alchemist (the first 2003 series only and NOT Brotherhood) in Netflix and it just... well, happened. Somehow, the concept started off when we were watching the part of when Rory and her grandmother, Emily, had traveled to Europe.
"Huh. I wonder if Edward and Alphonse had traveled in France too." My friend joked.
"Maybe they did," I replied back. Soon, we looked at each other's eyes and something sparked. Afterward, we spat out themes, scenes, and headcanons to each other and the rest was absolute history.
And thus, "Letters From Munich" was born.
Basically, the whole premise is: what are the events like after Fullmetal Alchemist Conqueror of Shamballa? How is it in the present time? Do people exactly know about the alchemy and how it was plotted to be part of World War II? What about Alfons Heiderich and the reactions to his death and discovery?
What if a headstrong and ambitious journalist like Rory Gilmore discovers all this?
You get the whole picture.
Till now, I've only written regular fanfiction stories with one series and this may become a new passion of mine and I hope to share this with all of you.

P.S: I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist and Gilmore Girls. FMA is owned by Hiromu Arakawa and Gilmore Girls is owned by Amy Sherman-Palladino.
P.S.S: I included a cast section for those that are curious! I understand that people prefer to imagine the story through an anime-vision but for those who don't, I included actors of my personal preference that portray the anime-based characters. As you can see, there's an "optional" mark on it because I am aware that there are people who see them in animated form than a real-life one or they like another actor/actress to be that character. Otherwise, it's all there for reference!
