Chapter Three

The studio door creaked as it opened, Mari stepped inside with a hand clutched around the strap of her backpack and the other held a warm cup of morning coffee.

The place was quiet and big, since it was closed while the teacher was away. It was a bit dark and completely silent but what could there be to scare her?

She entered the dance room and sat her stuff in a corner and drank her warm coffee until there was none. She threw her cup in the waste bin and grabbed her IPod from her bag then played 'Adore You' by Seventeen in repeat. The song echoed the whole room as she started cleaning the dance room.

From dust to wipe, vacuum to mop, and arrangements to dance the routine of the repeated song of 'Adore You' whenever she had the chance. She had been doing her duty for a full hour and felt like she heard a noise from outside the room but let it go, thinking it was her imaginations.

In the chorus of the song, she slid through the clean floor and did the chorus dance which was Heejo's favorite. Heejo loved the song ever since it came out and never got tired of playing it whenever she does various things.

Mari laughed at the thought of her best friend when she did the chorus. It was because of Heejo that Mari memorized the lyrics and routine of the song since she's the one who taught Heejo the difficulties of the choreography.

She paused the song to take out the trash that was almost full from what she found of litters and plastic bottles. She tied the plastic into a knot and carried it out of the room to the back door of the studio where the waste bin was.

Pair of eyes followed her as she walked out the back door then she came back after a moment with a smile that brightens her whole face.

He even watched her clean the big dance room and danced off beautifully as she laughed and giggled every time she does them.

Oh, how he missed that smile and how he missed her. He still had her in his heart for so long even when she left. He regretted not telling her about his feelings sooner but now that he's back from his debut and she's returned from America, he's been watching her ever since he found out that she was in Seoul.

He watched her teach the dance crew the new choreography for their new upcoming song, watched her went along with each of them after what happened between her and the dancers and smiled and laughed whenever she talked to him, he couldn't express how great he felt whenever she's by his side or whenever he sees her or whenever he hears her.

He wanted her to be his but couldn't reveal anything to her and just stayed behind with his fellow members and learned step by step their choreography.

She seemed to not know that he and his members were learning from her, too since they were in disguise. The guy dancers had to wear a mask, which covered their mouth and nose, and a hoodie to cover their head while the girl dancers can wear anything they want as long as they don't reveal the secret.

Even if she doesn't know that the group was there, she knew who the song belonged to from the facial expression that she showed after she listened to the song on the  first day but pretended not to know anything, which was a relief to them.

He saw her head out the bathroom with a tissue in her hands and wiped the water off of them. He hid back in the other unused dance room and walked back out when she entered the dance room again, as quite as a mouse he made his way to the closet where he knew that she'll come in any minute to get the new laptop speakers and he hoped that his dongsaeng's plan would work.....
