Chapter Seven

The back yard was an elegant big garden with colored lights that lit the dark sky, the smell of flowers made the air so relaxing. The silence was so beautiful while the crickets' creek, the owls hoot and the rustling sound of the leaves that were made by the gentle breeze.

Dino was nervous of what to say to her and scared of what she might think.

Will she laugh at me? Will she reject?

"It's so beautiful out here" Heejo whispered as she admired her surroundings.

Dino turned to look at her and she was smiling at the beauty that was around them.

I guess it's now or never....

He stopped walking, which made her notice. She turned to him and saw the serious look on his face.

"What is it, oppa?" she asked him.

He opened his mouth to speak but there weren't any words coming out, he closed it again and tried the second time but still nothing.

Aish! I can't cower again; sooner or later she might end up with someone else if I don't confess.

Heejo stared at him while he glared on the ground; she wondered what he was trying to say. She could see the difficulty that he was in and wanted to help him but the moment he lifted his head, she froze on her spot.

She couldn't move, the intensity of his gaze was like a strike in her nerve system. Full of determination and something that she couldn't pull.

Her heart started to pound against her chest when he strode towards her and cupped her face in his hands. Before she could even pronounce his name, he crashed his lips against her in one deep and breathtaking kiss.

It was her first kiss and it was from her best friend. Who's name is 'Dino' Lee Chan, the guy that she never thought that would give it to her and fell for but always ran away from her own feelings, thinking that she was never good enough for him.

She couldn't let her guard down, she needed to be strong and tell him that she wasn't the right person for him that he could do much better but it was too late. She's already melted through the passionate kiss.

She gasped in surprise when he licked her bottom lip. He took the opportunity to slowly snake his tongue inside her warm mouth and deepened the kiss. Heejo, wasn't aware that her eyes were still open until she slowly closed them and enjoyed the fluttering feeling that Dino was giving her.

When air was needed, he slowly pulled away but kept the closeness of their faces as they stared at each other. Heejo stared at him in shock with flushed face and heavy breathing while he stared at her with warmth and love.

His fingers brushed the strands of her bangs away from her face and took her sweet appearance before they locked eyes again. A small smile made its way into his lips as confidence overwhelmed him.

"Sarangheyo, Heejo-ya" Dino confessed as he kept his eyes in hers "I loved you ever since we first met, you were the one that made my heart beat like nuts, in non-stop motion. All I want is you and only you to be with me, you're my other half that I know was made for me and I also know that you think that you're not good enough for me which is wrong. You are enough for me." He took his hands away from her face, grabbed her hand and pressed it against his chest where his heart is while he kept his gaze on her eyes "Can you feel it, Heejo-ya? You're the one and only one that would make me feel like this" he confessed "I really love you, so much."

Her eyes teared up as she kept, a small smile tugged his lips then cupped her cheek with one hand and stepped a little "Please, be mine" he begged "Please, just let me prove it to you how much you're worth to me than anything else in this world"

Tears soon flowed down her cheeks, the sincerity in his voice and gaze were enough to convince her and break that wall that kept her feelings in.

She bowed her head while she laughed and looked back at him after sniffing, he kept his gaze on her as it was calm and warm.

"Since when did you become so cliché-romantic?" She teased behind her tears.

"Since the girl that I love always force me to watch romantic movies with her and well, half of the help was from Jeonghan-hyung" he shrugged.

She laughed which got a wide grin from him, she looked back on the ground then she removed her hand from his.

For all these years of hiding and ignoring, here she was in front of the person she loves, listening to his confession of his love for her. She would never have thought that she would be that one and special person for him.

She always told herself that he deserves someone better than her, a person who's talented, beautiful and deserves every happiness. Because of his career, she tried to keep her silly feelings aside to not create any chaos for him and built a wall until he gets the girl. But now, now that wall was destroyed and her heart was captured.

Dino frowned, a sudden wave of fear grew inside of him as thoughts of rejection grew inside his heart when she pulled her hand away. Heejo looked back at his eyes and saw the fear in them, she smiled reassuringly at him and intwined her fingers through his.

'No more hiding' She thought.

"I love you, too, Dino-ya" she confessed and felt his chest rose shakily "And it would make me the happiest girl in the world to accept you and your love."

His eyes light up "J-jinjja?"

Heejo giggled but nodded.

A smile slowly made its way to his lips. This was the best thing that has happened to him because he finally got his girl.

He wiped the tears off of her face and pressed his lips against hers again but this time she responded to it.

She wrapped her arms around his neck while he wrapped his around her waist. They moved their lips against each other in a slow and loving motion. Heejo pulled away and slowly opened her eyes to meet his, they were sparkling under the moonlight that made her heart skipped a beat.

They kept each others gazes for a moment while a smile made it's way to each of their faces. Dino slowly leaned in and kissed the forehead of his new girlfriend and rest his cheek on her hair while she moved her arms from his neck and wrapped them under his arm then rested her head on his chest.

Dino finally got his girl while Heejo finally got her guy.

I'm really sorry if it was, I had never ever had experiences with boys, first love and first kiss and all that. I got the ideas from reading and watching a lot of romance, hehehe. Not a girl that hates girly stuff would do, right?

Finally a beautiful ending for the young couple but! The story isn't over yet. Just one more and the mystery will reveal itself, hehehe.
