XI. How you get the girl

Taylor's POV

I loved this gameboy so much.

It was just great to see something from my past that made me actually happy, me and Louis were so excited when we were putting in place all of the stuff inside the boxes he had brought, and I thanked God that he actually packed everything that was on his room, if not, we wouldn't have found the gameboy with its charger and some games.

"Hey, I've got to tell you something" Selena said, a couple minutes later after she and Harry had arrived together to his dorm. At first I had found it quite strange that they were together, but they were friends so it wasn't like they couldn't hang out together.

"What is it?" I looked at the room and realized that Harry and Louis weren't here, I could hear some rambling though, from outside the room, so I knew they were outside.

"Okay, I'm going to be real quick right now but when the boys come inside you have to play cool, alright?" She asked me, I frowned but nodded my head.

"So I was with Harry before" I rolled my eyes.

"No shit" I hissed, obviously knowing they had been together.

"Chill out Tay, not gonna steal your man" She smirked and looked at me, then she continued, "We were playing twenty questions and I asked him what he thought about you".

As she carefully whispered the last words, I felt my heart racing a bit, I didn't know if I should feel mad at Selena for trying to find out about this or if I should feel glad about it, I decided to keep on listening to her.

"And it wasn't the answer I expected but before he could answer the question he zoned out for like a minute, and I could tell it was because of you" She assured but I scoffed.

"How could you tell?! And what did he say?"

"Because! I can tell! I mean we had been alright until I brought you up, and he just stared at nothing and he smiled then frowned and stuffed like that, and Tay, I've read books and watched movies, like a lot. Too many now to know what does those things mean, and he said something about you being a good friend, but I mean c'mon.." The doorknob twisted around and we both looked at each other, Selena shutting her mouth as she took the gameboy and acted like nothing had happened. I did the same.

We spent most of the afternoon together playing with the game boy but at nine something we decided to go back to our rooms.

Louis decided to keep the game boy and Heather wasn't there, as usual. I tried to entertain myself with whatever was in my room but there was nothing! And decided to go to Louis' dorm again, because why not?

I made my way to his room and I didn't even bother to knock the door, the first thing I saw was Harry seating on the floor staring at his lap,
he didn't look happy though and for some reason I wanted to know what was wrong so I could help him.

He looked up at me and we stared at each other for what it felt like forever, his stare was so intense it made me feel small and vulnerable, it was the first time I'd ever seen him like this.

"Don't you have your own dorm?" He asked me but not in a nice way, he wanted me to leave but I wanted to stay.

"Duh, of course I do." I said playfully walking towards Louis' bed and sitting down, I looked at him to see his reaction, but he showed no emotions, and that kind of worried me because most of the time I knew how he was feeling just by looking him in the eyes, but not this time.

I could feel the tension between us and before I could say anything else he asked me to leave.

"No." I answered firmly "I'm gonna wait for Louis here." He rolled his eyes and stood up.
