XII. Right Now

Harry's POV

The night was young, we were just two friends trying to make some good memories and it felt like the whole world was in our side, would it last forever? Maybe it wouldn't even last this night, but I was sure about something, right now, it felt like it was never going to end.

"I'm not even paying for that" She said, I frowned and looked at my ice-cream, it had rocky road, bubblegum, strawberry, chocolate and mint with fudge, whereas Taylor's only had cookies and cream and vanilla.

"Why? You said you were!" I exclaimed and pouted while she just laughed.

"Yeah, for two normal people, not one normal person and a weird as fuck giant with like four different flavors!"

"They're actually five" I pointed out and sighed while Taylor just laughed again.

"See? I'm not paying for that!" She said and raised her perfect brows.

"Fine I'll pay for them" I took out my wallet and got the money to pay, after that, the boy who was attending us wished us a good night and we left.

It was already twelve something, and we were just wandering around New York, we didn't even know where we were, we were just following instructions from the people we had asked, it was actually, two guys had already tried to flirt with Taylor, and it was quite funny.

"I can't believe we didn't take Selena's car, now we'll have to walk our way back to school in the freaking A.M" Taylor hissed as she ran her hands up and down her arms.

"If we took the car, then it wouldn't be a Harry adventure" I smiled and giggled, but she just shook her head.

"You're such a dork" Taylor laughed and smacked me on my arm but in a fun way.

"Sooo...." I trailed off  "Why were you mad at Louis, Tay?" I asked her but I knew that this was a delicate subject for her, she could either ignore it or stop being nice Taylor and become bitchy Taylor.

"I've told you Harry, it's none of your business." I snorted, of course she didn't tell me.

"You never tell me anything Taylor, every time I ask you something about anything you always say it's none of your business Harry or it's none of your fucking business, it depends on your mood." She had a wide smile plastered on her face but she just rolled her eyes playfully.

"If we're going to be friends you should at least answer to some of my questions Taylor." In that moment I thought she was just going to ignore me, but her answer surprised me.

"Well, ask me anything."

Really? After like, what? 2 weeks I tried to get closer to her but she never opened up and now she was asking me to ask her anything.

"You're so weird you know?" I told her the exact same thing she told me before we came for ice-cream.

"Now is the moment Harry, you literally can ask me anything and everything you said was -You're so weird- "

"Okay, promise you'll answer" I raised my hand and made her pinky promise me she'll answer.

"Do you really have a crush on me? Or Louis was just messing around with me?"

Suddenly both of us stopped walking and we were facing each other. She was speechless and it was the first time I had seen defenseless, she frowned and looked down, sighing and shaking her head.
