HMHE II

a/n: Ayan ha. Atlest everyweek may update ako sa bawat story. I have 3 ongoing stories. Sorry kung masyadong delayed ang mga updates. Enjoy!

I was welcomed by the cinnamon scent from the door. The floor was lined with candles, so that explains the scent. The familiar music can be heard throughout the whole house. I smiled inwardly. I slowly made my way to the kitchen and was almost shocked to see a half-naked chef.

"What the--"

"And I love you, too, Misis." Wow, I feel like a Queen.

He continued ushering me to my seat and lighted the candles in our table. "Well, I missed my Queen and I missed my wife."

"Baliw." Nailing kong sagot sa kaniya. When he was done with everything he removed his apron and that revealed his perfectly toned abs. Yes, hindi ko akalaing may igagwapo pa pala 'tong lalaking 'to.

"Like what you see, wifey?"

I averted my gaze and blushed. Oo, mag-asawa na kami, pero I still can't help it. "Pwede ba magbihis ka muna Xavier? Nasa harap tayo ng pagkain."

"Ano naman? Mamaya naman ikaw ang kakainin ko."

"Watch your mouth. Mahiya ka sa grasya. Baka takbuhan ka niyan."

"'Wag kang mag-aalala. I can't help but laugh with him. His manly laugh and his boyish grin. I never thought we'll be like this after that incident. "Hey, why a long face? Hindi mo ba gusto ang chicken? May pasta pa naman diyan. Don't worry, no cheese." Sabay kindat sa akin.

That memory still haunts me 'till now. And I don't know if I'll ever get rid of that scar etched in my heart and soul. I looked up to the guy who's squeezing my hand and giving me a reassuring smile. I'm so blessed to have him in my life. I really am.

Be sure to have the ambulance ready just in case na ma-food poison tayong dalawa ah."

Parang kelan lang, kinamumuhian ko ang lalaking 'to dahil sa arranged marriage, but here I am, married to Joseph Xavier Tan.

"I must say, masarap 'yung pasta."

"Fine, pati 'yung chicken."

"And?" I rolled my eyes on him while he grinned at me and arched his brows as if teasing me.

"The salad."

"Hmm."

Fine. "And the cake." Talo na ako. Magaling talagang magluto ang lalaking 'to. I still try my best to learn. That's what's important right? I can cook a decent meal. But not some complicated ones.
