Gwaddyn led us to our rooms which were of high standards, then gave our weapons and supplies back and left us. We unpacked our belongings and were about to call it a night when there was a knock on the door. Belelia opened it to find a young boy standing there. He bowed and said "My king has requested your presence for dinner tonight. He is having our annual feast of hope and would not want you to miss it." "Tell your King we will be there in a moment." I asked him. He bowed and left us. "Come on, we better get going." We went to our rooms to prepare.
I didn't think that Belelia brought a nice dress, but she proved me wrong. when we came out of our rooms, She was wearing a long purple dress with long sleeves and a golden necklace with purple accents. I was wearing a nice, long light blue dress that has sleeves up to my elbows and a silver necklace with light blue accents. "You look beautiful Amithradith." Said Belelia. "Well not to hurt you, but you look like you are going on a date." I Joked. "not funny Amithradith, not funny" replied Belelia. "Come on let's go before we're late." So we walked to the banquet hall.
When we arrived, all activity in the room stopped. Everyone stopped what they're doing and made way for us. They bowed and as we were making our way to our seats, we could hear multiple voices saying "My Lady and My Liege." As soon as we sat down, everyone gathered at the table to listen to the King's speech. He got up and Said. "To our friends and enemies, for we need them both to strengthen our armies and empires."
Everybody then raised their cup and cried "Hear" And sat back down to start eating. While everyone ate, King Gwamyr stared constantly at us, it seemed more so at Belelia than me though. After everyone finished eating, all guests went to either dance with their partners or left. We were debating whether or not to leave when King Gwamyr approached us. I took a deep breath and prepared to talk when Belelia said to him "Nice celebration here, is it not My Lord?" "Please, just call me Gwamyr." He replied. "Would one of you care to dance?" "I'm sorry, but i promised never to marry and be a maiden like Arien." I answered "But what about you Belelia?" Before she could respond, Gwamyr grabbed her hand and took her to dance. As they left, I laughed and returned to my room to get some sleep.
