Chapter 17. Happy Us.

We spent the rest of the week traveling to any place not minding what her mother would say.

" Babe, anong ideal boy mo?" he smiled while driving.
We are on our way back to Manila. We are needed in our companies.

" Babe naman, pang teenager lang ang mga tanong na yan eh". I pouted and he just gave in a chuckle.

" Ah, alam ko naman na mga tulad ko ang type mo. Tall, brown eyes, gwap- "

" Oo na, ikaw na yung gusto ko." Para matahimik ang mukong, nahawa na sa pagiging talkative ko.

" Kinilig naman ako dun" sabi niyang parang bading. Napatawa naman ako sa reaksyon niyang iyon.

" Babe maiba ako, how is your company doing?" I asked seriously.

" It is running smoothly babe , nadagdagan ang profit namin this passed few months, I think ikaw ang lucky charm ko." He said with a huge smile.

" Dahil yan sa skills mo Babe, bonus lang ako dun" I told him thruthfully.

" No, it's because of you really. I am eager to wake up each day and work for US." he turned to me..

" I Love You Thara.." he said and I can sensed the love soothing my heart with his words.

" I Love You too Babe.." I replied to him .. mula ng maging kami ni Raven ,  the bithchyness in me is slowly fading..

I heard the City's Noise outside the car. There is no traffic and I thanked that. I asked Raven to take me to one of my favorite salon, I should really take this because my hair is so dry. At isa pa, gusto kong lagi akong maganda sa harapan ni Raven.

We stopped by a food chain before he drove off. We took out burger, fries and float. Since he is busy driving, sinusubuan ko siya ng fries.

" Babe , say ahhhh .." I motioned to him offering him a burger.

He opened his mouth and he was about to take a bite when he suddenly closed his mouth.

" Why babe ? Is there something wrong? " I asked him.

" Babe , can you please kiss that burger for me ? I can't it eat without your kiss on it." he requested with a sweet smile.

" Hahaha. What if I won't ? "

" Then my mouth can't accept that , I can't eat that and I will die from starving because you didn't kiss it ". He sadly added.

" You're over reacting ha but sige na nga. " I kissed  the burger before offering it again to him. He took a bite and more bites and more bites and more bites and mor- ang OA ni author ha , parang ang laki laki ng burger bakit ang tagal maubos?!

Thara : ' Fine! '

Yun nga , we were busy eating until we reached the salon.

"  I wished I could stay longer waiting for you at the salon " his eyes saddened.

" Kung di lang dahil sa trabaho ay sasamahan talaga kita Babe, I want to be with you all day long".

" It's okay Babe, you need not to worry.. we can have dinner tonight. And aside from that , I know you have works to do. You should keep going by now. " i told him and he wrapped his arms around me and smiled.

" Well, see you later my future wife. I Love you Thara " and then he gave me a kiss on the lips. 

" I Love you too Raven." then he waved goodbye. I entered the salon and met the owner who is my friend. We were friends when we were in college.

" Thara.. " she approached me walking like a beauty queen. She is really beautiful and I felt insecure about it, she is half french ang her mother is a Filipina. I bet she could win pageants because she is just so perfect.

" Sophia.." nag beso kami and then she entertained me as we motioned towads the chair . Then , she turned to ask one of her workers to assisst me. She is so kind that she is treating her workers as if they were her friends.

  I felt insecurity in me. I wished I am like here, maybe Raven would love me more. I thought no one can ever exceed me but I was wrong.

Raven's POV

    'I already missed my girl.'

I really wished I could stay with her. Until today , I just can't believe that my dreams with her is slowly fulfilled. I can't believe she is now mine.

    ' I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle' ..

We've been together for 7 months, we spend time eating together. Ang traveling to places which we both love. I am glad that she like adventures too.

I was in the middle of thinking our happy moments when I remembered something..

The name of the salon, it seems familiar.

S & R Salon.

Maybe it's just one of the salon that my mom would go. Maybe.

But I felt something which I can't explain.

  'Sophie'. My heart sink , remembering the name I used to call her.
