Sydney was dropped to the ground once the three and the robot reached the church. She grunted in pain and frustration when she felt the layers of skin being scraped off of her hands and knees. She looked up to see a figure sitting in a throne at the center of the room.

"You're wondering why you can't look inside my head," Ultron's calm voice came.

"Sometimes it's hard. But, sooner or later every man shows himself," Wanda said. Sydney couldn't help but scoff under her breath.

Ultron stood, removing the cowl. "Oh I'm sure they do," the twins stepped back as Sydney stumbled to her feet and away from Ultron. "But you needed something more than man, that's why you let Stark take the scepter."

"I didn't expect," Wanda trailed off, "But I saw Stark's fear. I knew it would control him, make him self-destruct," she studied him closely. Sydney stood back observing the scene unfolding before, thoughts of how to escape running through her mind. What Sydney didn't know is that Pietro was watching her calculating mind at work. To Pietro, she was breathtaking, her brunette hair fell just below her shoulder blades in false curls. The black dress she wore accentuated her curves nicely. Freckles also peppered her skin. Pietro stood astonished by her in general. There weren't girls like her in Sokovia that's for sure.

"Everybody creates the thing they dread," Ultron cut into Pietro's thoughts. "Men of peace, create engines of war, invaders create avengers. People create," he paused in thought, "smaller people," he shook his metallic head again, "children," Ultron exclaimed chucking, "lost the word there for a moment. Children designed to supplant them. To help them...end." Sydney sucked in breath slightly. He wanted the human race extinct? He hadn't existed a day ago, how could he want the world as mankind knew it to end? Sure, Sydney had seen a lot of bad in the world, but there was good as well. Ultron wanted to wipe out an entire race, without a second thought.

"Is that why you're here? To end the Avengers," Wanda asked, as her brother glanced towards Sydney, before looking back to Ultron. When they looked back, Sydney reached for the gun on her thigh.

"I've come to save the world," Ultron explained as Sydney took her aim towards the lighting fixture above, "But also," click "yeah." Sydney pulled the trigger. As the light swung down it knocked Ultron to the ground and Sydney darted out of the church. She ran as fast as her feet could carry her, she didn't know where she was going, but Sydney had to get away. She raced through the city, only to have her path blocked by Dash and Ultrabots.

"Move out of the way Barry Allen," Syd urged.

"Can't do that printessa," he shrugged smirking at her. Syd felt herself get flustered but continued to stare him down.

"If you don't let me go a lot of people are going to die Pietro," she appealed.

"How do you know me," he asked.

"Shield has had their eye on you and your sister. Your powers are astounding," she complimented.

"What about you," Pietro circled her, looking her over, "do you have anything special about you besides the fact that you are exceptionally breathtaking," he smirked. Sydney knew this game all too well, the flirt to get your way game.

"Well, I would show you," she looked around, "but I'd rather not turn the city to rubble. Pietro let me go, I can help you, your sister, and everyone here," she pleaded again.

"See I don't think so. Can't have you go running back to Stark," Pietro continued to circle, like a lion stalking his prey. When he finally stopped he came close to Sydney, so close she could feel his breath on her face. He leaned down towards her ear, "besides I think I'd rather have you for myself," he almost growled. A shiver crawled up Sydney's spine, she was so shocked that she hadn't realized they had started walking back to the church. She was brought up to Ultron.

"You will pay for that, you damned brat," he screamed, hoisting her off the ground. "I should kill you right now," he snarled.

"No," Pietro shouted, everyone in the room turned to him. "Death is bad," he shrugged," but watching people you care about be killed is worse. So when the Avengers come for her, and they will, let her watch the destruction and death of the ones she loves," Pietro stated. Ultron considered this for a moment or two.

"Very well," Ultron agreed throwing Sydney to the ground, letting her land awkwardly on her knee, she cried out when she felt her knee dislocate and new skid marks appear on her legs. "Take her to one of the cells below," he ordered the twins. Pietro and Wanda helped her to her feet.

Slowly walking down the stairs, Sydney winced the entire way. When they finally came to the cell, the Maximoff's stayed with Sydney. Wanda attended to the cuts and Syd's leg.

"Why are you two helping me? That was some serious bullshit in there about making me watch people die," she gasped in pain, as Wanda wrapped her leg tightly.

"You could have killed me. Your powers, could have killed us both. But you didn't, why," Pietro asked, sitting down on the ground.

"Killing isn't a sport for me. It's a necessary evil in the world. One that I am occasionally charged with. But you two, I never planned on killing either of you. None of the Avengers even expected you to be in the field," Sydney explained.

"That was a choice we made," Wanda, continued working on my cuts.

"But why join HYDRA," Sydney asked.

"Vengeance," Pietro stated shaking his head to the left, then back again.

"Revenge? Who are you seeking revenge on," Sydney asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Tony Stark," Pietro snarled. That's when Sydney fully looked at Pietro. "When we were younger, there was an attack on Sokovia. I took her," he nodded to Wanda, who found Sydney's leg very interesting. "And hid under the bed. Our parents were killed in the first blast. When a second one dropped right in front of us it didn't detonate. It just sat there. And one name was printed across it," he looked up meeting Sydney's gaze, "Stark, and for three days we worried. Scared to move because anything could set it off. So forgive me for not wanting to work for or with Mr. Anthony Stark."

"Fair enough," Sydney replied numbly.

"How did you get your powers? I mean you have them, no," Wanda asked.

"I was born with them," Sydney gave a short reply.

"There has to be more to the story than that," Pietro smiled at her, which thankfully Sydney was laying down otherwise, she probably would have fallen.

"It's a long story," she replied smiling back.
