Sydney sat in her cell, humming to herself. She was bored out of her mind, Ultron sure as hell wasn't going to let her out of this cage. Sydney hummed quietly to herself. She heard the keys clanging against the metal, snapping her out of her thoughts of escaping. She looked to see Pietro on the other side of the cell.
"What are you doing," Sydney whisper-yelled, standing up and rushing to the door.
"A pretty woman does not deserve to be locked up, especially in a dress like that," smirked Pietro as he opened the door and she stepped out.
"Slow your roll there, Sokovian speedster," Sydney placed a hand on his firm chest, "you may have gotten me out of that indestructible hole, but it's going to take more than a few smooth words in that accent of yours," she started to walk away, when Pietro appeared before her again. She continued walking but he kept up with her even facing backwards.
"What about my accent," Pietro questioned with a knowing smirk. "Is it distracting, inviting, all of the above?"
"No comment," Sydney rolled her eyes, knowing he hit the nail on the head.
"You know Ultron won't just let you walk out of here, yes?"
"That's why I'm going to punch my way out, our just cause a small lightning storm to short circuit the bastards," she glared at him.
Pietro walked a circle around the American, "a fighter, I like it," he growled. Sydney's stomach, flipped. If he kept that up she wouldn't be able to keep herself in check.
"I'm sure you do," she replied sarcastically, "why did you let me out?"
"You have me intrigued," he stepped close to her, "from the moment I got to pin you to the ground," he backed her to a wall.
"At least but me a drink first," she whispered, holding the Sokovian's gaze. Their breath fanned on each other's faces. Sydney saw his eyes flick down to her lips, then back up again. Sydney, a woman who rarely wasted her time on affection, wanted him. She wanted Pietro, a man she was supposed to oppose, to kiss her.
"Something tells me you want me to skip the drink," he whispered, leaning in closer and closer. Both of their eyes slid shut as their lips connected. Sydney felt as though she was floating, all these years of being an agent, she had never had an amorous connection, with anyone. But this one guy, accent or not had changed that. They pulled away for air, before reconnecting again due to Sydney clinging onto his shirt and pulling him back in.
Once they pulled away for good, Sydney spoke again, "I'm still holding you to that drink," she winked walking away.
