Chapter 29

The next morning I woke up to yelling from the kitchen, I groaned as I got out of bed. My fluffy housecoat warmed the bare skin my my arms, my slippers covered my feet. My feet dragged as I walked through our small appartment, I went into the kitchen and I noticed Harry was on the phone.

"No you listen to me! You can't make her do this, you are not touching that baby! It's mine not yours!" He yelled into the phone. 

There was only silence from Harry for a few moments. His cheeks began to turn red, he was angered. I assumed he was on the phone with his managers and they weren't taking the news too well. 

"She is not aborting the baby! It's my child and you can't do anything about it! You even come anywhere near her I swear to god the boys and I will quit. You wouldn't want that would you? You guys are nothing without us." He threatened them. 

Harry was willing to give up his job for me and this child. He was willing to give up his dream, his passion, his life. All of it, just for me to have this baby. It surprised me that he hadn't noticed me yet, I had been standing there for at least three minutes. His back was turned to me now, it rose up and fell again with each heavy breath he took. 

"You don't even give a rat's ass about my happiness. I've told you a million times you are not taking them away from me! I love them and that's all that matters! Why should I leave them, you can't just pack me up and force me to desert my own family!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. "What about Liam huh? You let him and Gabby get married, they have a little girl and you left them alone. And what about Niall and Amanda? They just got married too and I wouldn't be surprised if they had a little one on the way within the next few years. Why is it that you guys always attack me whenever i'm happy? Why can't I settle down? Why can't I have a somewhat normal life? I'm an adult now, I can make my own choices."

Happy tears fell from my eyes, he honestly was risking it all for our happiness. What he said about Liam was true. Liam and Gabby had been married for five years and had a beautiful little girl named Skai. Management left them alone, they let them be happy. I wasn't even sure if they even noticed Niall and Amanda when they started dating, even though they did keep it from everyone. Even Harry and I. But whenever it came to Harry though, he was never allowed happiness. Everyone else in One Direction was happy, they all had a life outside of work. Now why couldn't Harry and I have the same thing? 

"You know what? I QUIT! I fucking QUIT!" He yelled as he hung up the phone, he slammed it down on the counter. 

"Harry, is everything okay?" I mananged to let out. 

He turned to face me, his cheeks were stained with tears. His eyes were still red and puffy. I approached him and wrapped my small arms around his waist. He nuzzled his head into the crook between my neck and shoulder, he let it lie there for a few moments then stood up again. My arms remained around his waist. 

"They want you to abort the baby and they want us to break up. But as you probably heard. I will not let that happen. I am done with Modest! Management. They've tried to control me and all of my decisions ever since I first started my career. It was a fun three years but enough is enough. We deserve to be happy, we deserve to bring this wonderful little boy and girl into this world. Nobody will hurt you, I will protect you even if I die in the process."

"Harry, you're too sweet you know that. But what are we going to do once the baby is born. You're out of a job now and I can't work at the shop while I'm pregnant."

"We'll come up with something. I did have another management looking to sign One Direction though." He winked. "I told them about what Modest was doing, how they were treating us. If I give them a call I could have my job back."

"Oh my god Hazz! Call them then, live your dream!" I exclaimed, I pecked his lips with mine. 

"Ok, ok I will. The boys will be here soon, could you keep your eye out for them please?"

"With pleasure Hazz." 

I kissed him once more before leaving the kitchen. Harry picked up the phone and dialed the new management's number. There was several knocks on the door, I picked up the pace of my walk until I reached the door. My hand turned the doorknob and opened the door. Everyone was there. Liam, Niall, Louis, Zayn, Amanda, Gabby, Lux and Skai. I smiled at them all and let them in, Lux ran into the appartment and immediately started looking for Harry. Skai was in Gabby's arms and was playing with her mother's hair.

"Hally? Uncle Hally?" Lux called out.

"Aweh Lux, c'mere. Uncle Harry will be out soon, he's on the phone right now." I told her.

She nodded her little head. Her small blonde pony tail bobbed as she did so. Liam scooped her up from behind, making her squeal in delight. Everyone else made their way to the living room. We all took a seat on the couches and seats we had in there. Moments later Harry came in, he took a seat next to me and held my hand.

"What's up Harry? What's all the hub?" Louis aksed.

"Well, Hailey and I are getting married first off." Harry smiled.

"Oh my god management is not going to be pleased with that." Zayn frowned.

"They weren't, but there was some news that they were even more pissed about." Harry mentioned.

"What is it?" Gabby questioned.

"I'm pregnant and we're keeping the baby. We got to see it yesterday." I grinned.

"Oh my god congratulations!" Gabby squealed.

"What did management say Harry?" Nervousness hinted Liam's voice.

"They want her to abort it, and they want us to break up." Harry answered. "But I told them off and I quit."

"WHAT!" Everyone exclaimed.

"I quit. That's really all there is to it."

"But Harry what will we do without you?" Niall sniffled. 

"That's the third part of this meeting. I got us signed with a new management. We can finally leave Modest!" 

Everyone cheered at Harry's announcement. The boys all stood and had a massive group hug. Gabby and Amanda scooted over towards me. They both had massive smiles on their faces. The both of them looked at me then at my stomach. I smiled and nodded at them. Both of them placed their hands on my stomach and grinned.

"Are you excited Hailey?" Gabby smiled. 

"More than you will ever know." I laughed.

"It's been a while since we've talked, how far along are you now?"

"Two months. I had an ultrasound yesterday. Harry was crying while I was having it done, he seems to be so happy. I couldn't believe that he risked everyone's career just to save our child."

"Well, I guess Harry is taking One Direction into a new direction." Amanda laughed. "See what I did there? One Direction, New Direction?"

"Yes Amanda we got it." Gabby laughed.

And there we had it. The boys had been signed to a new management, I was able to keep my child and everyone was happy. We spent the rest of the day at the appartment. After a long day of drinking tea and a wonderful meal that Harry and the boys made everyone had to leave. Harry and I would have some alone time. I always loved spending time with Harry, he always made me feel better and talk to me when I was feeling stressed. I was really looking forward to what the next seven months had planned for us.
