Author's note: Wow guys, thank you so much for reading my story. I am actually really surprised that I have the will power to continue this story. It's the longest one I've ever written and I am extremely proud of it. I'll try and update it as frequently as I can, I have some final summative work and an exam I have to start studying for. Well here's chapter 22 of The New Direction :D
I had been driving for twenty minutes now and Harry had already phoned me six times. He was probably worried about me, I abandonned him in the middle of the woods at night after he freaking asked me to make him a sandwich after the most romantic evening I have ever had. I loved him but he really pushed my buttons some times. I guess that's what you have to learn to get over with when you're married to someone. Amanda and Niall are doing fine so far, she's just had to run and get food every once in a while for him; he still has a few broken ribs that I could imagine, probably hurt like hell. I tried my hardest not to smile, I couldn't help but think about Harry doing so much just so he could ask me to make him a snadwich. There was probably more to his questions than what he asked but I understood he probably wanted to take things slowly. I stopped at a red light and pulled my phone out of my pocket, luckily enough for me Harry was calling for the seventh time. I answered it and put it on speaker phone so I could still drive.
"Hailey, why haven't you been answering my calls?" He aksed, concern hinted his voice.
"I've been driving, luckily for you I drive responsibly. I'm at a red light right now and it's taking forever to change so you're lucky."
"Are you okay? I've been walking..."
"Yes and...?"
"Could you please open the door?"
"What?"
I looked out the window and I saw his flawless face, standing outside of my JEEP. It had started raining about ten minutes ago and he was completely soaked. His emerald green eyes gazed into mine, he had that puppy dog look in them. I laughed a little and unlocked the door for him, he opened it and waited for me to set move the towel I had in the back seat to the one he was about to sit in. We gazed into each other's eyes for a few moments; suddenly we began to hysterically laugh at the crazy situation.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you like that, I should have stayed and not left you out there in the rain." I apologized.
"No, if anything it was my fault. I was the one being a little jackass and played the woman in the kitchen card. It was entirely unrespectful to you. I should be the one feeling sorry, I deserved to walk home in the rain." He said, sorrowfully.
"I forgive you Harry, it's all going to be okay."
"Thanks love."
"No problem. So uh, are we living in your apartment or did you get another place without telling me?"
"Well I have been looking at this one place, but it's in Australia. I don't know if you'd want to live there, so far away from everyone. From your friends, and family. I couldn't just tear you away from the life you've known forever like that."
"Australia!? I've always wanted to go there Harry!"
"Well, the thing is we can only live there if we're married. It's the rules there. So uh for now, we can stay at my place. We can bring your things over in the morning if you'd like."
"Was that a marrige proposal Harry?"
"I believe it was."
"Are you being serious with me? I don't want this to happen and then one day you realize oh shit this isn't what I wanted."
