"Hey, Cas, how does it feel to be present?" Everett asked while laying down across his bed.

"Nice. I don't get to be present very often." Cassandra had her back pressed against the headboard of the bed. Her feet laid by Everett's shoulders.

"Yeah, it's lame. I love the other guys and all but I just want to spend more time with you. Tempest is usually the one I'm chillin with though. I think we are beginning to get rather tight."

"Yeah he is the strongest Alter." Cassandra leant forward slightly to look at Everett. She moved so that her hands were at either side of his head and she was looking down at him. Her hair fell around his face.

"You have pretty eyes."

"Pffft, yeah right." Cassandra pushed herself back into a sitting position.

"No, you do."

"Not."

"Ugh." Everett grab ahold of his forehead.

"Self-esteem issues. You knew I had them when you wanted to date me." Cassandra sighed and shook her head.

"I know. I knew all these things about you and..."

"You were still crazy enough to do it?"

"You were still wonderful enough that it was worth it," Everett corrected. He sat up and spins around making him face Cassandra. He scoots forward until their knees were touching. "You are worth this you know."

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are." Everett reached forward and cuped Cassandra's cheek.

"Nah."

"Yeah."

"Nah."

"Yeah."

"Oh just shut up and kiss me already."

"Okay, will do."

"No one is allowed to be present right now!" I waved my arms around as everyone gathered in the field stared at me.

"No one wants to be," Tempest commented.

"That is a lie. Zador and Z both have crushes on Everett."

"I couldn't kiss your boyfriend. I'd feel too bad." Zador looked down at the ground. Marigold reached up and grabbed ahold of his arm. She smiled up at him.

"And Z..." Tempest looked down at the teen sleeping in the middle of the group. "You can't expect any guy who is the representation of your hypersomnia to do something that takes that much effort."

"You have a very valid point there." I shrugged and looked at the group around me. Almost everyone was here. Everyone but Clair and Cheyanne but no one minded about that.

"Though, sometimes there is a force switch and none of us can control those," Tempest pointed out. "In that case it would be no one's fault."

"I guess that's true but still don't try to switch with me. I don't get to spend much time with Everett. Hosts are suppose to be present very often."

"We know sweetie," Zara said with a smile. "We'll do our best to keep out of it but we all know Tempest is suppose to be the most present one."

"I know. It sucks." I sighed and shook my head. "I just wanna live my life as me more often."

"We know." Zara's voice was gentle. Everything about her was gentle.

"Yeah... anyway, how are you all feeling?"
