Hilary Duff was more of a product at the start of her career. She didn't really have a say in how she wanted Metamorphosis, Hilary Duff, or Most Wanted, to be portrayed. With Dignity she got to be more in charge. Then the year after she wanted "Holiday" to be a single too but Hollywood Records did not allow it. Hilary ended up leaving Hollywood Records. She basically ended up leaving music for a while. I, personally, still think there might be a slight Record label problem going on. I mean Hilary wrote (with other writers too) pretty much all the Folk-pop songs like "All About You", "Belong", and "Rebel Hearts".

Her new album "Breathe In. Breathe Out." was actually going to be a Folk-pop album called "This Heart" but ended up being scrapped.... And that makes me wonder "what if Hilary wanted to do the Folk-pop album but RCA didn't let her?". It kind of seems that way to me. Hilary really liked making those Folk-pop songs but since RCA records felt like it wasn't going to sell then they threw the whole idea out.

But who knows if that's true or not? What do you guys think? Comment if you have anything to say about these thoughts.

Hilary Duff is the queen of Disney. She may no longer be associated with Disney but that does not change the fact that if it wasn't for Hilary then future Disney singers wouldn't be able to be so successful. They took a chance on Lizzie and turned her into a pop star. And now because of that we have Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Bridgit Mendler, and more. If Hilary had failed then Hollywood Records would probably have stopped trying to turn Disney stars into singers. Now that's all they try to do. But we all know that it doesn't work for everyone (Bella Thorne). They now make so many Disney starlets into singers, for example, Sabrina Carpenter, Zendaya, Bella Thorne, Laura Marano, China Anne McClain, Emily Osment, Ross lynch, Mitchel Musso, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Blu, Raven Simone, Lindsay Lohan (She wasn't really from Disney but was Signed to Hollywood Records, and did star in a disney movie) and more. Also because of their success, other channels try the same thing. Like Nickelodeon with Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice, Jennette Mccurdy, Ariana Grande, Big Time Rush, Drake Bell, and more.

Hilary, in a way, started this whole process. Or I should say the whole thing started with Hilary Duff. And some are more successful then others (Miley, Selena, and Demi). I'd say Hilary was successful in her career as a singer. And if you ask the current Disney stars who they look up to, they might say Hilary Duff. Selena, Miley, and Demi have definitely stated that they look up to Hilary. Demi even went to one of Hilary's concerts!

Ok, so before I continue on with Breathe In. Breathe Out. I just want to explain how I do this whole lyric process.

So I listen to the song and then I pause and write down the lyric. I also get help from resources if I'm not sure what the words are. I think it's fun to listen and copy down the lyrics yourself because your jamming out at the same time. When I'm done copying all the lyrics, I play the whole song while looking at the lyrics for any mistakes.

So yeah. Next up is my favorite album Breathe In. Breathe Out.

One more thing. Remember when Lindsay Lohan and Hilary were rivals? I think it was over Aaron Carter or something like that. After that whole little stupid fight they were seen as rivals. MTV even did a special that included them in it. I think they were saying something about "who is more likely to be the next Britney Spears?". It was aired when Britney Spears was still dominating the music industry. So being the next Britney was a good thing. Lindsay Lohan ended up winning. Now I bet people look back at that and just laugh. I mean who's more successful now? Hilary of course! I also find it funny how when I go to any Hilary Duff station on a music app, it also plays music from Lindsay Lohan. It's kind of Ironic since they didn't like each other.

I'm not trying to bash Lindsay though. To be honest I love her too. Not as much as Hilary but I love her music. Her first album was actually really good. I think her voice is really good too. I wish that she was still making music but if she tried making a comeback no one would care or notice. That's how bad she ruined her career. There's obviously more to her story that none of us know about. That's why I don't blame Lindsay for anything. Look at what kind of parents she has, who can blame her?

I support Lindsay and if she ever does return to music then I'll be here waiting. If anyone is curious about her music, I recommend "Very Last Moment In Time", "Over", "Speak", "Nobody Til' You", "Black Hole", "A Beautiful Life". There are other good songs from her too.

Ok so enjoy Breathe In. Breathe Out.!!
