Chapter 20: Killing Oliver Queen

Notes from the author: Still under Gal's spell, Nyssa sets out to kill Oliver, but someone is watching his back. Happy Reading!
Laurel is getting ready for bed when Oliver walks into the room. Laurel knows he's standing behind her and she is hesitant to disrobe in front of him.
"Is something wrong?" Laurel asked without turning around.
"No. I just wanted you to know that I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight." Oliver replied.
"You don't have to do that. We can share the bed."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure." Laurel stated.
Oliver thanks her then goes to sit on the bed and removes shoes and socks. Next, he stands back up and removes shirt followed by his pants. Laurel still has her back turned to him but she sees his upper body in the mirror and she shudders sightly. How long has it been since she's seen Oliver naked? She lost count after 2 years or so went by.
Laurel goes to take off her robe and Oliver turns his back to Laurel before the robe falls to the floor.
"I'm going into the bathroom to change." Laurel announced. Oliver nods his head as he continues to keep his back turned to Laurel, knowing that she's completely nude. While he's standing in front of her in his boxers.
"You can go ahead and take a spot." She added before getting some clothes and going to the bathroom. When Oliver hears the bathroom door close, he turns back around and wonders which side of the bed Laurel usually takes.
"Laurel? Which side of the bed do you usually sleep on?" Oliver asked.
"The side by the door." Laurel replied. The bathroom door opens a few minutes later and Laurel shuts the lights off before walking over to the bed in just a night shirt and a panties. Then she pulls back the covers and climbs into bed. Oliver has his back to Laurel as she's lying on her back.
"Oliver?" Laurel says.
"Yes." Oliver replied.
"Would it be out of line if asked you to hold me?"
"I guess not." Oliver stated. He turns around and puts his arms around Laurel's waist and rest his chin on her shoulder.
"That's better." Laurel sighed and it was hard for Oliver to argue.

"Remember your assignment?" Gal asked.
"Yes Master. Kill Oliver Queen and Laurel will be mine." Nyssa replied.
"Excellent. Now carry out your mission."
"Yes Master."

Oliver awoke in the middle of the night to find that something was troubling him. He sense that something was wrong but he didn't know what it was or who it could be. So he let go of Laurel and climbed out of bed carefully as to not disturb her and walks into the living room. Flipping on the lights he barely has time to react as an arrow came flying at him. He ducks just in time however as arrows lands in to the wall behind him and he knocks over the nightstand in the process.
"Oliver." Laurel Says behind her, but realizes that he's not in the bed with her.
"What hell...? Nyssa. Is that you?" Oliver asked.
"It's me. But you won't be seeing me for long." Nyssa replies and draws her sword, but some comes crashing from the window and tackles Nyssa to the ground.
At that time Laurel walks in to see Nyssa and Tatsu wrestling on the ground.
"Get out of here!" Tatsu warned. Oliver didn't even reply as he took Laurel by the hand and ran towards Connor's room.
