Notes from the author: Nyssa makes her feelings known and Laurel tells Nyssa that they can never be together. Happy Reading!
Laurel pulled away and she could tell by the look on Nyssa's face that the assassin got her memory back.
"I guess we need to have a talk now." Laurel said.
"Yes." Was Nyssa's reply.
"But not here. Let's go out on the porch."
Nyssa puts on her jacket and follows Laurel outside. Once they're on the porch, Laurel closes the door behind her.
"I know about your feelings for me so you don't have to tell me about that." Laurel stated.
"I can't help how I feel, but we can't just ignore it." Nyssa replied.
"We have to! I have son with Oliver."
"That's not a reason to stay together."
"Maybe. But I love him."
"Then I won't stand in the way of your happiness."
And with that being said, Nyssa kissed Laurel goodbye and left her with one last thought.
"A kiss is still a kiss."
And then she left.
